One might even be able to scale them to match full size planes. Have fun with the wire frame one.

My computer at home can probably handle it, it is a pretty high end gaming unit. It would kill my laptop.

It would be interesting if the wireframe could be converted like these lamps.

picture blocked here at work but I think I know what you mean. Maybe, if you flip the model around its has internal engine parts as well.

Just finished watching Stu's 18 Webinar on Hackers. That is some scary stuff, especially after the hack I had to deal with this past week with our international distributors.

Am still can't convince the IT Director we need to backup the data, reformat, re-install software then restore just the data back on the machines that were hacked. Still thinks just removing the malware is good enough. Even after I showed him some settings were changed on the machines AFTER the malware was removed. Arrrgh.

Guess that's why my brother says it's not what I say or how I say it but I make people feel stupid. At least I am NOT responsible for preventable future hacks.

Hey Brent, is there a best place to take the classes and get the certifications for All the Microsoft Online stuff like Office365, Dynamics, Azure, etc.? Got Exchange, but only 2007 Server from New Horizons, but not any of the online stuff. Betting the company really going to need someone proficient as that sure seems to be what Microsoft is pushing, developing, and supporting.

Good FRIDAY morning all.

I know it is Friday because I had to check my watch. My commute was in 1st gear today, I took smaller steps and got up to 21 steps from kissing Mrs. Carrera and plopping my butt into the chair.

My partner did a demo of our camera system for a company that might be a huge deal. He said they had the very nicest Cessna 185 he had ever seen. It was even air conditioned. Glass panels and all the top end radios and instrument flying instruments. They always fly in VFR and in daylight so it was just open the checkbook and make the plane top notch. They 18 aircraft all over the southwest. I sure hope we can work out a nice relationship.

Richard, if you can stand to deal with them Western Governors University has a large selection of certifications. Otherwise CompTIA may have them.

I was getting a degree in IT Security through WGU but had to suspend that because I would have had to take a day off work to drive to Des Moines from the Dubuque area for a 30 minute test for several of the certifications. That and my mentor was calling during work hours when I said I can't take the call during work hours and then complained to her boss I was not taking the calls.

So Glen, they fly and your guy takes the pics and you split the pot or what?

What we hope to accomplish is they fly and take the pictures. They have the aircraft and the pilots and the knowledge of what they want. They see digital mapping as voodoo magic. We do the computer work and send them just the final data. We will need a lot more computers and more seats of expensive software but they can keep us busy. They know their side of the business stone cold. They have they procedures and process to keep their clients happy. They just want something orders of magnitude better than a go pro stuck out the window. We can do that.

Maybe it will be a good thing GCAM got so persnickety.

Thinks will just go with New Horizons that worked with locally. They claim it can be all done at my convenience 24/7 on-line and not have to go anywhere for the testing. Not sure how that works yet.

I could have some tests done at home. They just have a proctor watch you with a web cam to make sure you aren't cheating.

Guess it doesn't really matter for the tests if they have a training center just 6 miles from my house.

Oh, by the way everyone, especially Jim...IT'S THE WEEKEND!!!!

Good Saturday morning all. It is a might but windy today. As in 30 to 40 mph winds. We hit an all time record high yesterday, 82 in OKC and broke a record that was 121 years old. The front came through and brought the winds and a forecast high of 52 today.
The good news is the snow is all north of us so roads will be clear for Thanksgiving.

Rain last night ....roads turned to ice. Chain up and sand sand sand.
It was 48* when i got home about an hour ago. It's now 37* and snowing.

Woke up about that same time, 2:30am here. Used restroom, got a drink of water. Couldn't go back to sleep so started watching some Yahoo movie at 3:30am. Fell back asleep in the recliner so fast I don't even remember what movie it was. Just woke up and it's 12:30pm. Yikes.

Woke up to Pepper sleeping across my lap and the arm of the recliner with her back feet on the floor. My AppleTV was on screen saver. Usually shuts off. It was locked up on some weird music I haven't heard off. Since it was Sunday Morning maybe Pepper protected me from being abducted by Evangelists thru the AppleTV or something.
