Paulie's posts about mustangs are great, it gives me a chance to poke fun at ford owners. Even though I are one now.

Thanks to John for that video...man, I'd love to know how that old Mustang was done...great driving as well, avoiding a shunt with a Cayman coming up on his blind spot... Track and autocross days are well behind me now. Just enjoying a nice green street machine.

No one complains when sniper posts(ed) repeatedly sbout guns, Jeff Higgins about speeding tickets, or me about economics. So I say let pwd post about Mustangs.
I like Mustangs. Still miss my 65 w/ HiPo. Would like to have an ersatz Shelby someday. Think pwd's Bullitt is cool, only thing is I don't like the downward drooping headlight line of that particular body style. |

Not sure which Shelby you are referring to. Maybe you can read more here, then post which model? "Couple of years ago" is pretty vague.
Team Shelby Generally speaking, the new 5.0's are very quick...even the base GT model. Get into Shelby territory, you're talking faster...up to insane with the 624 horsepower top gun.

LOL! I don't think they are currently being made...but they were aluminum bodies, made in the shelby shop. Considered "real" Cobras by some, not so much by those with the real Cobras made in the 60's. Prisoner labor, IIRC...a sort of "rehab" program. $$$$$ to buy 'em.

I've met Saleen. If a guy like that can become as successful as he, anyone with a degree in marketing from USC can. And that's what he has.
Other than that, the guy is a dirtbag. |
