More surprising is how some posters think these forums here are a gift from God...when it's members that made the board what it is. It's popularity is due to the posters, those who contribute to the forums. If the contributors are unhappy...what's to be done? Apparently nothing...

I'll probably get banned for the post, oh well...see you on a different board

when the man gets out of prison and is reformed. (praise the lord!) and is welcomed back into our folds with opened and forgiving hearts..

it would be awesome if his log-on name was "*******"

Not in green, but I think you mean it to be. IIRC, he's a dope head and not too sharp. Were it not for his cunning ways as a thief, he wouldn't done much but sucked on the teat of the government. I doubt he'll come out of this any better...

Where are all those supporter's of his?

When Jimmy gets out of prison (and hope its a long time from now) the chances of his being reformed are about the same as my hair growing back on top of my head.

To tell the truth there is a much higher chance of his getting out, then coming after both Mark's and myself for revenge. Jimmy is not the type of criminal who will be reformed easily and while we can hope it will happen, am not going to be betting any money on it.

It would be awesome if he comes out of prison and gets a job at a KIA dealership and leaves us in the Porsche world alone.

Joe, I presume you can get on the list of people notified by the prison when he is released. Hopefully it will long time from now.

Mark finally got most of the parts for his 911 back a while ago, and believe its on the road now after considerable expense replacing parts that Jimmy did not return.

Feel that he would like to rejoin the group if possible but he is not going to bow and scrape to be re-instated. He saved 911 owners on the Pelican group hundreds of thousands of $$ getting Jimmy stopped from stealing engines/parts and in fact entire cars and he is banned for it?

Fast forward to a week ago in court and all the work that Mark Frasier had put into this came to the end with Jimmy's conviction for stealing from Pelican members. All along Mark was right and now we have proof. The right thing would be to reinstate Mark F and we all should give him a hearty thanks. He sure deserves it.

Glen,

We are working on that. We want to know when he is released and where he is allowed to go by his Parole officer. If its anywhere near the three of us, then restraining orders will be done.

Randy,

We asked and are waiting for info on this. Mark Fraiser (as usual) will be going and we are on standby in case we are needed to talk during the sentenancing phase.

Funny thing is that other threads are allowed on the PPOT or parts sections about people who are screwing other Pelican owners but not with Jimmy.

Calling out Stuttgart Specialist - welched on a deal

Mark- just forget it man. I wouldn't even want to come back given what you went through. If you need to talk Porsches, there's plenty of other ways. Via e-mails, Facebook, other forums...no need to ask to come back....those who banished you for doing what's right, should be out there apologizing and asking YOU to come back.

Besides, what's to be gained here? It's just play time anymore these days. Most technical discussions have been had, and can be found anywhere on the web. So it's not like you'll need help with anything...you've spent more money on parts to put your car back together than this place would have saved you ... and you saved other's from losing their money. What's to be gained?

There! Ban away..

Not quite the same magnitude of wrong. Tony owned up to it and said he'll take his stoning. Maybe let that one go now? The parts classifieds attitude some have of "I had it first, it's mine" is a bit out of whack. While there's rules, the seller still has the right to sell to who he wants. This ain't renting an apartment where you can't discriminate because you don't want to rent to _________ (insert whatever ethnic/racial/stereotype/whatever description you want- i'm not touching that one!)
