As we're coming through the worst of winter...Please vote. I'm not making any judgments, just curious.

If yours is set at 69 please select the closest option 70.

It is programmable- 62 at night, and 65 during the day. We keep it on the cold side, and bump it up if we feel the need.

Programmable. Set for 68F during short bursts of the day totalling about 4 hours (when people wake up, get back from school, etc), set to 62F the rest of the time. Outside of those bursts of more heat, the house is usually around 65-66F. When it is really cold, I sometimes have to turn on the heat manually. I find the low 60F's to be kinda chilly. I don't usually wear a sweater indoors.

I used the average actual temp in the house, to answer your poll.

It changes throughout the day, but usually high 60s when its cold and mid 70s when it's hot. Programmable therm means that it changes a few degrees throughout the day.

That is pretty much our settings.

62 at nights and when we are not there, 68 when we are.

In the summer is is 82 when we are not there and 78 when we are. We have ceiling fans in every room. If we are goig to have a lot of guests, I will crank the AC down to 70 if it is a real hot day outside.

The beauty of living in TX is in Winter the days are nice so not a lot of heat needed until nighttime.

In the Summer when it's 105 outside 80 inside is downright refreshing.

Most winter days we only run the downstairs heat in the morning, to bring the lower part of the house up to 70, then we shut it off for the day. The upstairs generally stays between 60 and 65, without help from the upstairs HVAC zone. Nothing is on at night. Worst case, it gets down to around 60 by morning.

Similar drill in the summer. We usually use the upstairs A/C and leave the downstairs off, unless it's really hot and humid. We do run the A/C more than the heater, although its use is tempered by the use of fans when we sleep.

When I was a super cheap bastage in Western Mass, the downstairs unit would be 65 from 5am-7am and 5pm-11pm. Otherwise it was 50F. The upstairs unit was set to 50, unless my step-daughter was around. Summer the bedroom had an AC and was only used at night.

These days, winter 72 day, 60 night. Summer 75 day, 65 night (bedroom).

I like the bedroom cold at night. My plan this year is to install a small split unit for the bedroom.

I'm surprised to see so many 75 in summer. I freeze, not literally, below 78 in the summer and that is about what ours is set at 78-79.

A lot of dual temps here between day and night. We have a closed loop geothermal system that likes to be set once and left alone. It doesn't like changes more than 1-2 degrees and will eventually give up and throw on the emergency heat.

But left alone it will happily keep up with the changing temps outside even when it is minus 20. Amazingly it is very warm air, unlike our old heat pump. Expenses are really low too even at 72.

I said 70 and 75 respectively, but that is not entirely accurate. It is on a program, so at night in the winter it is 60, then it comes on before the wife gets up, shuts off during the day, turns on when she gets home. I don't care if the house is cold in the AM, because I am going to walk the dog PDQ anyway.

We have something called the delta breeze here. Summer evenings, the temps will drop quite a bit at night, so you open up the house and it is all good. Need to get a whole house fan to really take advantage of this.

Actually it's 72 day/65 night (winter) 75 night (summer) and has a programmable t-stat that reverts to the "night" setting whenever we're not home (for the cats). My occupied/in-use temperature is a year-round 72 however. I don't care what it costs.
