I thoroughly enjoy it, if anything this forum has become more diverse and interesting.

So you feel its ok to ban someone when they do not break the rules? How about when you are the one who is banned for "not breaking the rules" my friend?

OK, let's see the photo, Joe. I'll tell you what I think.

Is it me, or does it seem like people have been getting more uppity and cranky on here lately?

Complaining about peoples posts, complaining about posting the same pictures more than once in a thread. Crying that someone put something unrelated in a thread.

I dont know, just looks like some are getting nasty for no reason, or something that real isnt a big deal.

I think that the forum world is enfolding as it should. Occasionally get nipped by the shark. There are some happy people and some cranky people. Without diversity this would be a tedious forum. Of course there are rock stars here but not going to name any names....

I've been here for only a few short months and it certainly seems that way. It must be incredibly hard to drive said Porsches with the stick shift up your arse. I'd love to give myself credit for that correlation but, I get the distinct impression they were lodge firmly up there long ago.

I've been wondering about that myself Vinny, thought that after the election things would return to normal civil, playful exchanges.
Guess not for some of us.

While I enjoy this place I worry about the next generation of clever, funny posters...so don't get discouraged, I'm counting on you!

I find kegels for men helps.

I'm not even talking about the PARF stuff. Just the threads over here in general.

Nice work, Janet. I heard the bi-itch slap you applied all the way up here in DC!

I don't know, just looks like some are getting nasty for no reason, or something that real isn't a big deal.
Just part of the ebb and flow of an Internet board... we seem to have an influx of newbies that are exhibiting the usual dysfunction Internet know it all/bossy/whiny behavior... typically we just ignore them and they go away after a while.

I'm NOT bashing all new posters... some are bringing a breath of fresh air here... the ladies always seem to have something interesting to post.

Some of the culprits are old-timers.
I guess Ive just been through and seen enough bad stuff in my times its tough to get bent out of shape over trivial things anymore. I like this place too much, I'd hate to be turned off to it by a bunch of anal, whiny beotches. ( one of the reasons I don't post on the tech forum much. .)

Yep alot of good new posters. Janet is definitely one of the better ones.

For me, it's fatigue. I leave for a few months every once in awhile. When I come back it's the same as it ever was. But worser.

Feels like I can't seem to make any headway in pointing out the obvious. Tons of rationalization, endless bickering about minutia, and lots of plain 'ole denial due to entrenchment and irrational investment in ideology; almost like its all poltics and religion all the time.

We have 13,500 people riding from Houston to Austin this weekend.
