My passion as a child was tennis. I was no where near the ocean or I would have loved to surf.
The good ones have been doing this since a child.
Surfer girl's butts drive me nuts!
Was able to get up on a big board at Waikiki long ago, can't imagine how much time it must take to master the little boards.
The whole life style and attitude of surfing appeals to me. They seem to have a much healthier perspective.

Well the Pipe Masters is on and expecting good conditions.

72 DEGREES!!! If we saw 72 degrees here people would be surfing NAKED! January water temp this year is record breaking El Nino warm at 61, soon to drop to the 50's. I'm digging out the 4/3/2. :eek:

LOVE IT Baz. No leashes! Sadly to say, I go back that far. 3" thick 6' dovetail boards with almost no tail rocker. I go back that far too. $10 four-finger bag weed, where you could smoke the whole joint without thinking everybody was out to get you or the world was coming to an end. The good old days.

Had a lunch meeting at Jake's in Del Mar yesterday. Sat at the window right on the beach. Hard to stay focused on business when 50 yards away the damned Del Mar High School sponge board class is having water splash fights.

I had to ditch school and suffer detention to surf during the school day. These little grommets get high school credit for spending an hour on a body board??? That's just not fair. :mad:
