It was a good day, but not great. The best waves of the season were last Thursday. But they weren't allowed to call the contest because it was Super Bowl week.

These two ladies are twins whom I went to high school with....celebrating their 62nd birthday today at Disney world.

They were very good surfers in high school and surfed in our local surf contests. Back then there weren't as many chicks who surfed - especially competitively....so everyone knew who were in that exclusive club. Their Dad worked at the local Chevy dealership, where I bought my first (used of course) car...a Buick with a V-6!

As grandmothers.....they still look great......and they still surf.
