OK. Well. When I hear about him making any effort to surrender, but not being allowed to, I'll consider him trapped.

The couple that Dorner killed at their home didn't shoot at all either. I would call him a "wanton killer", absolutely 100%

I am not aware of any shoot on sight "order", only one to consider him armed and dangerous.
Other than a facebook post, I have seen no evidence reported that he was the one that killed anyone other than the very last ones...who were reportedly shooting at him...have you?

Obviously they were "shooting on sight" as they shot up several civilian targets.

Did you were the LAPD-issue "I'm not Dorner" vest to help matters? Perhaps a "I'm not Dorner" ID plate?

Someday, fint will be pulled over and the officer will have his weapon unholstered. Nerves, misidentification, Fint's car will look like one they are searching for, or whatever. I absolutely guarantee you one thing: Fint will NOT come out of his car with his own gun drawn. It is one thing to say stupid bombastic things; it is another to do them.

Hell, I'll even hold your beer for when you come out.

This was the right thing to do at the right time.

The house was riddled in a hail of gunfire and the damage was done. If you're not out in 1 minute we lob in the tear gas. If you get out with out fighting us well you can have your day in court.
They were tearing the walls off of the cabin with an armored vehicle. The fight was up...Then after the tear gas did not get them an easy target to shoot at, they used the CV gas that burn down the house.

They should have captured and tried the man.

No, I admit that I didn't see any evidence that Dorner was the trigger man. But, I am sure the evidence will be gathered and put together professionally and scientifically. As for the civilians, I think many more were not shot than were.

If that is not the case, please let me know. Also, the only reason that Dorner got caught and killed is because he did not kill the folks he tied up in the cabin....who got away and reported him. Maybe he is not the wanton killer as described. We will never know any of the facts...because he was executed.

See herein lies the problem, lack of information, but rambling like it was fact. The riverside officers were just sitting in their car....weren't looking for him. I dont even think they returned fire. He also shot at the LAPD officers who were enroute to sit on a persons house that was on the manifesto. When he saw an LAPD car way outside of LA, he lit it up.

Interesting you say go to war. This war was started by Dorner, and that expectation goes both ways.

How exactly was he going to do that without exposing himself to the 500 rounds that were reportedly fired at him? Wasn't phone, electricity, cable, and internet shut off as reported?

Tell me about that information. If you have any evidence of that other than a facebook post, please share. I have seen no evidence that he was the one that killed anyone other than the very last ones...who were reportedly shooting at him...have you? Is ther video, fingerprints, positive ID by witnesses?

Jeez... you act like this was his only chance to turn himself in. All of HIS actions led to this point. Time and time again, he made the wrong decision. How many times do you need to see the sun rise in the morning before you come to expect it?

I have had an officer draw a weapon on me more than once...one almost shot me. I was unarmed.

If I am armed and someone is shooting at me (officer or not), I certainly will defend myself...just as I stated. It is my right as a citizen. Like Dorner..I shot expert every time for 36 years in the military. I would not hesitate to defend myself or my family from anyone...including a rogue policeman.

How do you know what decisions he made. From facebook posts? How exactly do you turn yourself in when people shoot at you on sight?...and why would you take the risk if you think you could avoid capture and escape out of the country? If he was innocent, clearly the game was well rigged to make him look guilty. That is why we have trials instead of executing the accused when we catch them. Things are not always as they seem. People get out of jail all the time when proven innocent....long after they clearly seemed guilty at the time due to some trumped up charges.

Guilty or not, the man had the right to a trial. That is the rule of law. If the police do not follow the law...they are no better than Dorner.

I don't know what decisions he made, but we can all see the results of HIS decisions.

He could have turned himself in way before it ever got this far.

As for the 'innocent' people you speak of... they didn't decide to kill others, or die trying to prove they were innocent.

What evidence is there that he did anything other than to try to stay alive?
