The original Rocky would have to be one of the most influential movies ever made.

Halle played the part real well. I have to give her a lot of credit for taking on a role like this. Not much chance to show her beauty.
The girly/girly scene was hot.

That did it. I'm watching it for sure now ;)

Just watched, Free Guy. Ryan Reynolds is a character in a video game. Not a bad movie but I think its geared towards young video gamers, not old non gamers like me.

Totally agree- plus she directed it. The "Ladykiller" opponent was impressive and awesome after the fight. The first opponent "Werewolf" was some kind of monster. She's Gabi Garcia, at 6'2" and 209 lbs. Holy smokes!

OK so I just watched it... Considering Halle is 55 years old her performance was amazing. She looked like a real fighter. The movie isn't perfect but the story sucked me right in. The kitchen scene with the young lad made me jump out of my seat. The final fight and ending was great.

Watched this last night on Prime.
Typical zombie movie...but very realistic.
They must have killed at least a half million zombies.

Watching Grand Prix again. Liking it more and more.

I'm watching this new South Park movie, so far it's set in the future and they are making fun of "woke" comedy. Tom Kardashiasn is the vice president, there is a scene from Blade Runner in it. It's just nuts.

On Prime...the movie 'Mortal'
A backpacker in Norway appears with strange powers. Beautiful scenery...the movie gets better and better.

This starts streaming on Netflix today. Not about dogs, but a western is good. Great reviews.

Watched 'The Power of the Dog' on Netflix.
Great acting by all and the cinematography was amazing.
The story line went a different direction than I expected....

The Homesman is good. I didn't post the trailer because it gives away too much. Hilary Swank and Tommy Lee Jones. I'm sure it was mentioned before.

I am watching this now. I wish they would stick with speaking English.

I enjoyed that also but the house burning was brutal and it's rather sad at the end.

Both Hilary and Tommy were excellent.

Tremendous sadness in a couple of other places in that movie as well. Brutal and harsh- a tough movie to watch in places, that's for sure.

I'm wondering... Is that what life was like back then?

If you go to a Pioneer graveyard in Australia most of the graves are for children under 5 years old. :(

No kidding. I didn't know where it was going, but assumed it was going to be ugly. It was, but in a kind of awesome way.

^^^ BC was good...as usual. A perfect character for him to play.
Kirsten Dunst..I've always liked her. I might have to read the book..I'm sure it would be a lot deeper.
