"There Will Be Blood" flew under the radar. Great movie but it never really got the recognition it deserved.

Just watched Ford versus Ferrari - great movie (yeah I know that is old news).

If it came out before 'No Country For Old Men'...it might have done better.
Between the two, I thought NCFOM was a better movie.

"No Country For Old Men" was brutal. I found it really difficult to watch the first time round.

Everything about it was harrowing. It's like a really well done horror movie but looking at it now you can see its brilliance.
Movies like that don't come along very often. It's now a classic for sure.

I watched the new Bladerunner movie.

I am quite proud of my self for lasting through the entire thing.

Other than Ana de Armas, I thought it was bow ring and suloooow.

I really liked how they did the Elvis scene in what was left of Las Vegas.

It's a sci-fi masterpiece and gets better with multiple viewings.

We just watched Coda and liked it very much. Not sure if it was mentioned above.

Watched that over the weekend on recommendation from a YouTube movie critic I follow (Flic connection).

much better movie than I expected. Good acting and great sci-fi plot development.

Lavender...a psychological thriller on Netflix.
If you watch it, don't give up on it. It gets much better at the midpoint.

Deadly Illusions on Netflix
If you like movies with a smokin-hot nanny that is hot for the wifey....this is it. :)

"355"

Like the Bourne series in world settings spies and action, except with five hot older women.
Better individual scenes and gotchas. Less substance and depth.

Hey me too, Joe. It finally showed up on cable (FX).

I missed the first part but wow like you say it was GREAT!

A funny story.

Today I did my usual Saturday Costco run. I'm checking out and this guy comes up with a cart with some pillows and 2 comforters, seems to be new to the drill. We start talking and I tell him "Don't worry about the line, we're in the perfect spot. They usually open a check stand in this area when it's busy. I'm a Costco Pro".

So we talk a bit and I tell him how much my Wife likes the pillows he's buying, small talk. Well, they open a check stand and I tell him to go ahead since he has less items. He tells me "Thanks for the help. I don't usually do the shopping and it was a little overwhelming".

So I'm in the parking lot unloading the cart and he comes by and says "Thanks again. You know, I can tell you're a great guy. My name's Lance".

I said "Dude, I thought you looked familiar! My name's Craig. You were great in Terminator, Aliens and especially The Right Stuff, it's one of my favorite films! (He played Wally Schirra)". He said "Hell, that was a long time ago! I've done a bit more since then!".

Anyway, we talked a bit and went our separate ways. Great guy and gives me a reason to watch The Right Stuff again this weekend.

Wow- he's done a LOT of work. I remember him from Terminator and Aliens. The Bishop character was a relief after Ash.
