Jexi...on Netflix
A simple but entertaining romantic comedy.

Saw this at the theater a couple of weeks ago. I really enjoyed it. Jordan Peele comes up with some interesting concepts.

Nope for me at $19.99 right now. I'd like to catch it when it's a few bucks to stream.

I went to a bargain matinee with my kid on a Wednesday. $18 for both of us. Kind of steep, actually.

Here was my RAV 4 in the parking lot at the earliest showing:

'Inheritance' on Netflix.
A mystery/thriller movie that I thought was very good.
Simon Pegg plays the bad guy and plays it perfectly.

From 1998 and directed by John Frankenheimer....."Ronin" --- coming up on TCM!

As always....commercial free!

Feels like we're getting commercials.

One of my favorite movies of all time and made before politics got injected into everything.

Deniros antics from recent years have ruined his films for me. Just can’t unsee it and separate the tool from the movie.

In addition to the above, Di Nero did not age well either.

He has a great body of work, but the politics have ruined it. Like Alec Baldwin.

I saw L A Confidential yesterday. I've seen it a few times

Rocky Horror Picture Show on Prime until the 31st. I'd forgotten how wacked this one is.

Anybody else seen Rookie Season on Prime?

Steve Carlton 10-19-2022 04:15 PM

An amazing movie. Richard O'Brien (Riff Raff) wrote most/all of it, including the music. Best thing Tim Curry ever did.

The greatest scene ever of any movie of all time....

Featuring Bond Girl - Papillon Soo Soo :)

Coming up on TCM....1957's "3:10 to Yuma" with Glenn Ford and Van Heflin, directed by Delmer Daves.

I prefer this one over the 2007 remake, which is also very good.

Both Ben Wade and Dan survive in the original, unlike the remake.

As always....commercial free!

Watched Robocop with Peter Weller and Nancy Allen that I had recorded on TCM. Hadn't seen it in years. Forgot how darkly humorous it was. Miguel Ferrer was great in it and Kurtwood Smith. Kind of a reflection of today's society.

"I'll buy that for a dollar!" and the 6000 SUX, 8.2 MPG.
