The true story is fascinating, and glad to see that the movie was nicely tied in to reality.

Actor Patrick McGoohan playing King Edward Longshanks?
Crazy coincidence, but today’s post on the Known Scammers List thread reporting a scammer named King Henry L.

Steve Carlton 08-26-2023 03:09 PM

Anything from Ridley Scott is auto-approved with me. Not his usual style, but I enjoyed A Good Year.

I see Napoleon releases in November 2023 with Joaquin Phoenix, and Gladiator 2 in November 2024. Yay!

stevej37 08-26-2023 03:40 PM

^^^ Is Crowe coming back for G2?

Steve Carlton 08-26-2023 03:46 PM

Crowe says he's not, as his character died in the first movie. I could see flashback scenes, which would be great, but there would need to be some serious CGI.

I think it's the best movie I've seen him in, although he was pretty intense in L.A. Confidential.

stevej37 08-26-2023 03:58 PM

^^^ I liked him in this....a different movie.

Kinda like a "Conan the Barbarian" movie.....:)

Steve Carlton 09-01-2023 08:36 PM

I’d say Equalizer 3 is the best of the three.

stevej37 09-11-2023 03:38 PM

A reminder in case you haven't watched this on Netflix.
It's leaving in two weeks...a fun movie.

Just watched Jexi, super stupid and super funny! I like that actor, forget his name.

911 Rod 09-12-2023 05:55 AM

I found him annoying in the that latest Bundy show, but now I have to watch it.
