American Nightmare on Netflix
I remember a little of this from 2015....a very interesting case. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Yonx7CyoK3k?si=GP1be-5Nf4ji5B5U" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
"Best of Show" on TCM earlier. Never saw it before. Freaking hilarious!
<iframe width="853" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/gcKvMx2kPGQ" title="Best in Show - Trailer #2 Pg-13" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> Before that, also on TCM.....1978's "Corvette Summer". I was out so didn't watch but have seen it multiple times. A cult classic! <iframe width="853" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/GKcwUgruzqY" title="Corvette Summer (music video)" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> As always.......commercial free! |

The Beekeeper
Worth watching ??

Move over Indiana Jones and Laura Croft for the IRL adventure.
A French archeologist journeys to be the next Howard Carter and 'discover' an ancient Peruvian Amazon center of civilization far greater than Machu Picchu, the lost city of Païtiti. Of course there is rumored to be a huge treasure of stolen Spanish gold as well. And several others in the past have already 're-discovered' it. There is competition and hostile natives and technical difficulties and above all the terrain itself. https://jungledoc.com/en/incamazonia/ |

Pretty much the same crew in those movies plus A Mighty Wind.
Guest cracks me up, going back to the days when he was on SNL. He's married to Jamie Lee Curtis. |
The Man From Nowhere. Netflix. It’s Korean, subtitled, but that doesn’t matter because it’s an action flick. Lots of martial arts. Very good and bloody.

On Netflix...The Wrong Missy
A shallow slightly raunchy romantic comedy with David Spade. Worth watching...esp if a Spade fan. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/2Cwaneq2w-4?si=q3kSXCn8z32_xVZi" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
Watched another foreign film entitled "Holy Spider" about a serial killer in Iran. Was pretty good.

Kristen Bell and Vince Vaughn in Queenpins on Netflix.
Couponing gone bad. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/v90YxH6lR_8?si=Tp-LnfJgc5VKo2pm" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
TCM right now.
"A New Leaf"....Walter Matthau, Elaine May, Jack Weston, and George Rose who is freaking hilarious as the butler! 1971 - directed by Elaine May. As always......commercial free! |

^^^ Looks good, Steve.....love JG's work!
Right now on AMC...."Moneyball" from 2011. Great movie! |
Brawl in Cellblock 99
On Prime starring Vince Vaughn and Don Johnson as the warden. An ok prison movie. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/5hfAExhHTMM?si=uim1LaeB4uMKxvGe" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
I watched Dead Reckoning last night. Meh. More of the same MI stuff. For me it was rather tiresome and predictable. Of course YMMV
|
Watched the preview. Ha! Connor McGregor is the bad guy. I wonder if he punches an old guy at the bar?
