Today I finished the last season of Goliath. That series got better and better as it went on. What an ending! Can't wait for season 4!

Then just now watched "The Hateful Eight" - for the first time. Classic Tarentino!

It was the extended version broken into 4 chapters.

Not a movie but a TV show. My favourite scene ever......

Anything with Mads Mikkelsen is great!

Have you seen Valhalla Rising?

Watched Dark Star over the weekend. I don't know why.

Vile movie but great opening credits (reminds me of Holy Grail)

Yes. More than once.

Anchorage, 1987 back when I was skinny at 6' 230 but wedged into my wife's 85 Chevette. 31 years old.

Kinda cut a guy off getting out of the office onto the Seward Highway. He's honking and showing me I'm number one, the usual.

He opens his door and gets out behind me at the stop light. He's ready to rumble. I have a suit on which has shoulder pads and one of those heavy full length wool business coats.

I exit the micro car after an 11 hour day and stare at him. That kind of look. Like really?

Similar to the second guy that wanted to square off with Matt Dillon, he just folded and got back in his car.

I got a D in driving skill but felt like Batman.

Wife and I just watched 'The Talented Mr. Ripley'.

Highly recommended, we hadn't seen it in years.

Two hours of blood and gore with a surprise ending... Yes it didn't suck.
Surprisingly bad reviews. I thought it was a lot better than 19%. (Rotten Tomatoes)

There's talk of a Polar 2.

Baz 06-04-2020 09:23 AM

Thanks for the "Polar" mention.

On cable tonight....from 2014, "The November Man" with Pierce Bronson. I've seen it a few times. Great flick!

That remake is really sad....
Do yourself a favor, the original is great...

I watched a great movie last night.

Paul.

It only had a two star rating from the critics. That is BS, it is a funny and great movie. I give it 5 stars. It is just as realistic as the majority of Hollywood movies but it is funny.
