Windows 10 is Windows 8.1 with the Windows 7 interface. I installed Windows 10 on a couple of laptops that I use at home to test it out before upgrading everything at work. It works fine.

As I've said above, using something other than the EDGE browser. It is a good browser, but has several limitations. IE 11, Chrome, etc, all work fine under Windows 10. I've pretty much switched over to using Chrome to reduce the popups, etc.

This is fine mess I've gotten myself into, I went & downloaded Win 10 now I have to live with it. Lost a boat load of stuff in the change over, now I have to go get it back.
I finally got back on the net but have no idea how.

I maybe moving from the dark ages, or into, depending. This evening I picked up a HP23/TOUCH/13 8GB/1TB Win 10 for the sale price of $550. I'm going to try it out tomorrow morning. See how hard it will be for me to get from 7 to 10.

They are still there. Use internet explorer instead.

Weird.
In FireFox, "clear recent history" activates Adobe Flash.
Adobe Reader also activates on its own.

OK, I got to rooting around with W10 & spotted an icon in "hub" that said "import favorites"......hit that & got my previous favorites back. I'm a bit of a slow leak but now a bit quicker. A year or 2 of using 10 and I might get up to speed.
