I cant believe it!!! The connector to the body from the door on the passenger side had come loose. I reached in and pushed it back on and now all the windows work perfectly

Give it a shot of Deoxit or similar switch cleaner to clean it properly.

Connector.

Is the pass window feed all window switches as per the CKT I sent you.

Jd21476 -- see in the pic above (post 62) that there's an open hole in your door jam below the top door hinge. That hole should contain a pin switch that turns on/off your interior light when your passenger door's open/closed.

Do you have a functional pin switch installed on the driver's side? Reason I ask is that, at least on my '86 targa, the pin switch also triggers a relay in the power window circuit that, if not triggered, can cause your battery to drain. Specifically, the relay's designed to leave the power window circuit active/powered between the time the ignition is turned off and a door is opened.

If the door pin switch isn't working (or isn't there), the relay disabling the window circuit won't trigger and the window circuit will remain energized and pulling just enough of a load from the battery to drain it within a week.

Fortunately, easy to check -- with the ignition off, open the driver's door and see if your power windows still work - if they don't (but do work with ignition on), you're in good shape -- however, if the power windows continue to work with ignition off and door open, something (else) to get working

I'll check it out. I also have power mirrors but for some reason they are disconnected. I cant seem to find the wires within the vehicle but there are wires coming out of the mirrors and the control mechanism in the drivers door is still in place.

How did you get your hand in there? My basketball palming hand wouldn't even come close and I had to use the handle end of a parts washing brush to give it some pressure. (wife wasn't available)

Been having some intermittent pass window issues and have a new switch which I planned to install on the driver's door. Saw this and gave it a try then took a test drive. May have been the real issue as the connector may not have been fully seated after bare metal, disassembly repaint. Never even considered this connector.

Time will tell.
