Ahh, I think that you can rent a brand new Ferrari for less than that.

EDIT: OK, I take it back. I just checked the site and they are more than $1k @ day. But you can rent a new Maseratti spyder for $900 @ day. 996tt coupe is the same. It is interesting that the rental rates don't perfectly correspond to the price of the car, there are other considerations factored in, I guess.

Desireability has a large factor no doubt! What the market will bear seems to rule the exchange, right?

Well, it loos like my travel won't allow me to take you guys up on your kind offers. I need to be back Sunday. As a consolation I am going to try to drop into Scottsdale for the Barret Jackson auction on Fri and Sat night. Not too many cars on the list, but some interesting ones are there.

The turbo is still not back together. Right now I'm driving a "soccer mom special" Dodge mini van. Maybe I could keep up in that???

What size are you looking for? I've got some tires that I'd let go if they fit for you.
