Hey Matt. Do you have some core hinges for conversions to be made yet? Let me know as I would like to buy a set. Thanks!

Due to the price of core hinges going so high in the last few years I usually don't shop for them until I have an order for a set. In your PM a week or so ago I said I would get a set and if you wanted to go ahead to paypal me and it would take a few weeks maybe more as time allows, You said you did not want to pay until I had a set ready to ship because you were afraid I might forget you had paid by then. I quit looking for cores at that point as I have plenty of other things going that keep me very busy, and I don't need to spend the $ and then have you possibly forget you wanted a set when they were done.
I am a busy guy and honestly, I kinda lost interest. Matt

I have had a lot of continued interest in the conversion hinges, so I will continue to build them if the need is still there. Other than time, the main reason I have backed off on doing them is due to the overly high price the core hinges have become. Shipping charges have also taken a steep rise. It forces me to raise the price of the converted hinges, which is something I didn't want to do as having to charge so much actually kinda takes the fun out of it a bit. That being said, the current price will be $290 shipped in the CONUS. International shipping charges will be extra on an individual basis. I have a couple sets of cores right now and will probably build them this week.
Thanks for everyone's understanding. Matt

Can the modification be done on a car that's keeping the AC condensor? Doesn't the 964 use a condensor under the mechanism?

I don't think you can do the condenser under the deck lid.
I have seen some threads where the condenser is re-located under the drivers side rear wheel well. https://griffiths.com/mr-ice-project/kuehl-rear-fender-condenser/ Link to one of the regular (valued) contributors to most of the air conditioning threads website and product.

I just listed a set of hinges in the for sale section, based on factory 964 hinges.
