Laps, looks great! I like the way you think - I've also gone with bright targa bar and window trim on my '84. My paint is 2015 Agate Grey which is a fair bit darker. I'm still assembling right now so no nice photos to post yet.

I really love the pick...I was thinking of polishing my black bar to brush look but leaving the black window trim.
The new targa has that brushed look without any other chrome trim and looks great

I bought them from Carrera decals online Porsche Side Stripe Vinyl Graphic Script Decals 911 987 987 991 964 – Carrera Decals I think they're in Canada. I am very pleased with the quality and the results!

Glad to see this thread is still active with lots of inspiration, worldwide. Here's my contribution.
All original, has been in the family for more than 30 years. (it's an '85).
Since then, the wing has come off, targa bar has been resprayed, and the original 15" teledials were recently replaced with black 16" teledials (plus spacers in rear). That's it.
