Nick your path and mine are uncannily alike - maybe due to the same inspiration. I really like the look of your back date - well done! Here are some pics showing what i started with (black) and what i ended up with (2015 Porsche Agate Grey). Your picture video shows a great story as well. I just pulled my engine and packaged it with the transmission for a rebuild. For me I wanted a mid 80's impact bumper car - that's what we dreamed about as kids!
They are indeed! Looks a nice job and I'm sure you love it. :-) |

What is the color of this material and where did you get it? It does not look like cork. Looks more like cinnamon.

New member here....and new 911 owner. My 85. This car has sat for 20 years untouched. After replacing the battery, a crank sensor and the tires, she runs and drives great!

Nice Targa Josh!
Says PNW, are you in the Seattle area? I have a Targa that sat for probably just as long as yours and brought it back to life over the last couple years.

Interesting that it has both the side markers on the fenders, and the bumper reflector/lights. Was it a ROW car?

Yeah...that would be cool. I've only had this car a little over a month now...and just love it! Been a dream to own a 911. Have more plans in store...juggling this between other projects. Lol

It is not an original Porsche colour. I wasn’t trying to match up to anything that came from the factory. The upholstery was done by a well respected shop in Victoria, BC called Tommy’s Upholstery.

It’s not my car but those are Fifteen52 outlaw wheels, and they appear to be 17s. I’m guessing 17x7+23 in the front and 17x9 +15
