Yes, Silver Metallic and its in need of paint. Going to save what's left and give the keys to my wife for a driver.

^^nice car^^
I don’t care for the coupes as much and I never drive mine in the rain so the top stays in my shop.
I don’t care for targas with turbo style wings on them but ducks are ok but even then a car with a duck looks completely different to me then one without and the non duck look is starting to grow on me so I may explore the smooth look.
The only difference is after these pics I put the Mexico blue Carrera rocker stripes on it.

Enough talk on to the pics. Here’s my 78 SC Hot rod

I lowered mine today, compliments of some sway-away adjustable spring plates and ER poly golds.

Wheels are 15 x 7/8s.

Still messing with the ride height which is why the rocker panels are still removed.

Looks awesome! My opinion... these cars NEED to be lowered from US spec.

Thanks! I was actually almost about to trade the 15s for some 16 6/7s but I think it looks better with the wide and meaty 15s on it instead. Plus ride quality is very nice still with a little extra tire and given I drive this 3/5 days a week I think it fits the bill.

I finally completed my 1970 Targa and it's back on the road. I wasn't aiming for 'originality' but more of an original feel that maintains integrity. I recovered the dash which included deleting the stereo speaker and I have no stereo in the car anyway, recovered the knee pads, replaced all the carpet with a tough low pile charcoal carpet I found in the local hardware store (Bunnings for those in Australia) and edged it all. The door cards are being trialled, I left the padding out of the top pads which slims them down, added a used leather door pull and made a surround for it, and the door handle is an early VW option (I know this won't be liked by everyone!!). The colour is back to original Signal Orange. The 2.2 engine has always been good I added a Street Fire MSD a while ago but no more work to do. I've been through everything else and either cleaned it up or replaced with new and used parts. It's a joy to drive and finally I can again
