Wow, brave soul - did you really buy this from Robert?

Which tail are you talking about - the bbq tray whale tail? Or a duck? Or what?

Check the "parts for sale" section.

Wow brave doing business with those guys I hope it works out looks nice.

I had a duck on my last Targa but in the end I like the back of the targa without the spoiler. As mentioned be sure and get the front lip too. I believe our sponser sells the chin spoiler

Check the parts for sale board here the tea tray and they rubber ones come up.

Also look on ebay... here is carrera one on eBay

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

here is the earlier version:

Porsche 911 Early Carrera Spoiler wing tail | eBay

There are a lot of others including the turbo one. Personally I think the turbo looks the worst of the lot, much to big for the car. If you had to ruin the lines I would go duck, then carrera.

More Photo`s as requested

Hi TemAguilar Here `s some more photo`s, I know the porsche enthusiast would not be too to pleased with a `69 remodified to look like this, as myself would prefer the original also ,but this is how I imported it from the USA for $15 500 US, here it has been valued and insured for $55.000.00 AU and will climb by $3500.00 AU a year in insured value, I`ve spent $10.000.00 to get here and bring it up to it`s present condition,it is an investment as I`m going to sell it and HOPEFULLY buy a 356 kit Porsche ,this is the car I really want and I can`t afford the real thing,so a kit car is it, some nice ones around. BIG,BIG money over here to purchase an original 356. I`m really enjoying the forum just to see diversity of projects and the help given to any one with need, Any way thanks for the positive comments towards the `69 as they have been few and far between.

WOW, that car looks great. Thanks for the photos. Who cares what others think, as long as you are happy. Seems like a pretty good price for a car in that condition. Good luck with it!

Hi Charlie, yes ,the mower collection was started 12 years ago and the ones you see are dated from1955 to 1960, as you look in the photo left to right are the year models, I haven`t restored a mower in 10 years, it was a phase to restore these models and they all run,as after 1960 they went into mass production, these were all Australian built, motor and frames by Victor Richardson who at the age of 56 in1953 decided to leave automobile mechanics and invented the first ALL australian rotory mower, hence the forum name Victatwin, which I do own a very rare horizontially opposed twin cylinder rotory mower, I think (could be wrong) the only model of it`s kind in the world. Just a hobby, amazing you missed the car and saw the mowers,an eye for detail I`d say, they are all 2 stroke, and at the openning of the 2000 Olypics part of the entertainment was a Australiana theme which incorporated over 50 people pushing victa`s into the stadium, useless trivia but you might find it interesting, I don`t have any more ,I have given all my spares away as the collection you see is all I want at this time.

I know we are off subject , I agree about the rear spoilers. I was looking for the front spoiler. I found it on pelican.

I read all of the bad reviews about victory and it scared the heck out of me. I am happy toreport that the car is better than he represented. I had it checked by my mechanic as soon as I got it.

You are a man with my own heart.
I spotted the victa mowers the other day and thought commenting on all the stuff in your garage would be a bit low brow but I love victa mowers. I only have about six. I had a really early metal framed victa but its gone now. Only one 18 which needs restoration my favorite is the self drive 505pro which they also don't make anymore since the yanks bought it out. your collection is great. Say the least my wife thinks I'm a nut case.

Thanks Indyshark, Vin number of my `69 is 119210729, and Terry I know it`s a Porsche Forum and just this once I`ll post the Victa`s,all rebuilt and re conned myself 10 years ago, gave away at least 4 mowers and half a ton of parts , the Victa`s are getting more response then the car so if you can`t beat them then join them I say so here are a few pics, just this once.

They all need a good clean

Oh here is the one photo of the car that was of the rear guard that ended up sideways on previous post,

Hey "Comanche" I see you have successfully transferred a US car to Germany. I somtimes think of doing the same with a California SC. What did you have to do to get it registered in Germany, what year is your's, how did you ship it? Was it yours already in the States? Problems with the TÜV?

I like the Targa, but as you can see, I am not a lawnmower person, my grass has the natural look and is primarily for erosion control. But I am in a heavily-forested semi-rural area, in the 'burbs the neighbors would whine if I did not mow it

Thanks for sharing. Facinating. I will need to do a little interweb research on them.
