Jeff, your Targa with the duck and Carrera decal gave me the inspiration for mine.

Damn, missed that show in Newport.
Congrats, I love your car, I have a 77 targa in the same color although the paint is in bad shape and just looks kind of brown.
I saved this pic of yours, awesome.

Love the way they look box-stock with no (added) spoilers. Clean.

I'm honored! You chose the right color decal; black with that rich brown paint is perfect.

Arrow Don't forget your top...

Nice cars guys! First time I have used the original top in a while, it did well, I really don't need it that often but today we had a serious tropical downpour. The engine stayed dry.

Not pretty, but this was on the way from New Orleans to Houma last night (after a tough Saints' loss) for the finale of the Voice of the Wetlands Festival -- closing with the Voice of the Wetlands Allstars featuring, among others, Tab Benoit, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, Cyril Neville, Anders Osborne, Waylon Thibodeaux, Johnny Sansone and Stanton Moore. Beautiful night for a roof-off drive to a killer show. And then back.

If you have a front spoiler it may ride better.

I guess I should add my new acquisition to the thread. I am sure there are a few pictures of my former 87 granite green targa many pages back.

New to me 1987 Targa !

Its bone stock as far as I can tell. I had been considering the slippery slope but there is an appeal to just keeping it very very stock.

This car will do a lot of good for the prices of our classic targas.

About time they canceled that oversized glass sunroof!

I was finally able to take my '80SC out for lunch today from home > US-1 N > Marshall/Petaluma Rds > Hicks Valley Rd > Petaluma/Pt. Reyes and back home up to Inverness Ridge.

I've been neglecting the SC because of this X-Country trip that I recently drove in my new (to me) '10 997.2.

After 230,000 miles, the SC still delivers the stupid smile!

P.S. I will post a trip thread on the Pelican 997 board ASAP.

On the way home (Seattle), from NE Oregon, on a nice day. Reason top is off, on a cold day, is because I HAVE NO TOP because it BLEW OFF ON THE FREEWAY, the subject of my previous thread.

That's pretty. Scary, why did it blow off, wasn't it secured properly?
