For the record, I do think the Cayman is a dead sexy car. And, as a twice-former-and-hope-to-be-again Boxster owner, I can attest to the beauties (dare I say superiority?) of Porsche's mid-engined layout. My comment above is just another way of saying "who cares what it looks like, it's going to be a kick azz car".

I agree, the car is styling, it looks like it needs to be in a movie or something. I would love to own one, I have not seen the interior, anyone got a photo or two to share? I bet it makes your eyes water when the pedal is down and the MPH is going nuts..I would love a track test drive

I think the Cayman, aside from the unfortunate name, is a true winner. The only thing about the design I don't really care for is the "gun sight" running light treatment. I wish I had the moola to afford one, I'd be on the list right now.
