Angry 3.2 Starting issue

Car won't start. I usually crank 1-2 seconds and it fires right up. Drove the Auto-X on the weekend with no issues but I did notice a the engine bog twice during the day when I got the throttle.

Car has always had a bit of a hunting idle but not enough for me to fix. Could the ICV havbe packed it in? O2 sensor? CHT sensor?

Just trying to get an idea of what I can do myself before I drag it to a shop.

Thanks in advance!

Garage
New DME relay (under the driver's seat) and clean the plug in sockets.

Bog and hunting idle usually indicates an over rich condition. Might be as simple as having your mixture checked and adjusted.

I'm thinking you may have a fuel issue. Maybe your filter is plugged or your pump crapped out. If you don't have full fuel pressure it will bog, instantly as if the ignition were turned off.

My pump died once and it wouldn't start. Try a shot of ether (carefully) before cranking and see if it starts and then dies. Do not try to run it on ether, just a spray before cranking. You can also crack a fuel line at the fuel rail and see if there is pressure (not cranking) and immediately after cranking. OR have a friend grab the pump and see if it vibrates during cranking.
