hey charles and chris, glad to hear you decided to stop at knoxville. no use pushing further when little rock would only be a 5-hour drive from nashville..plus it's a nice drive from knox to jackson, tn..after that it gets flat and kinda boring though. be prepared - memphis is the worst bottleneck anywhere on i-40. you might spend and hour going around the 240 bypass to 40 and crossing the bridge into arkansas..trucks galore.

look forward to seeing you guys tomorrow! any idea on your eta? ya'll wanna eat in like with pizza or eat out? food preferences? i think i have a flight review on friday, but i'll schedule it probably for late morning/afternoon. grand canyon and all...damn i'm jealous..bet you guys are having a blast.
ryan

We drove part of the Blue Ridge Parkway yesterday.

The only car we caught up with was another Porsche. It was nice to meet Lou, Sally and little Ana in their pristine 88 Carrera.

I was telling him how bullet proof the these Carrera's are. How about the only thing that will strand you with them is the old style head temp (which it turned out he has).

Noooo, Chris just couldn't resist poking his head into someone else's tail. He just gets this Porsche envy. The car was sweeet! Really mint! Real nice friendly folks!

Knowing Chris, he MADE the guy pull over and said, I must fix your car!!!! I have 6 of these temp switches and you can have one!!! Charles, try wearing a Justin Timerlake t-shirt for the girls. My wife likes him.....well, maybe not.

Ryan (Bigchillcar) take them to Doe's for steaks. I've only been to Little Rock once and I'll never forget the steak I had there. Friggin bronto steak right out of the Flintstones!

Feed Chris like a king and have Charles graze in the pasture. If it's the south, you get to kill it first!!! Todd, we should be there!!!

I"m pretty sure it's an animal that eats vegetables.... So feed Charles chicken..
Chris doesn't drink so no worries there.. Charles is a wine drinker.. Jesus,, I knew I should have driven it out myself.. We could have gone out eating and drinking.. and I'm instrument rated so I would have let you fly and I'd drop the empties out the window through the clouds!!!!

Chris needs meat, he's starting to get cranky. I am sure they have some stuff that food eats (ie veggies and greens) or some fish or chicken. Either way we ARE stopping at Interstate BBQ in Memphis for some BBQ takeout (so as not to spoil dinner appetite) Want anything BigChillCar?
Its supposed to be the best dry rub BBQ around

Hey Moe, wish you were here there are some SWEET hotties in Knoxville... woooweeee feast for the eyes and all that ;-)

Todd, is a knocking sound from the back of the car a good thing??

Cheers!

Charles is cooling his heals at the Applie store hoping there will be a cancellation so they can replace his bloated mactop battery. We lost about an hour this morning stopping at a winery.
"You want wine Charles? I'll give you whine...."

Hmmm, steak. Make it small but tasty.
