Stop on by RMG on your way down to Smart Racing. We could put the car up on the rack and make sure all is well. We are only about 14 miles North of there.

Don't hit the Bay Bridge during rush hour. You'll regret that. Might consider heading N on 101 over Golden Gate to San Rafael, then 37 to Vallejo to 80. That's the route I take into the City.

Really, if you'll be around the Bay on Monday, many Pelicans will be at Sears Point all day.

Hi,
We swapped cars with Todd today (we're driving his Audi) but thanks for the offer!

Hi guys,

Thought I'd check in while Charles does some wine tasting at a vineyard here in, hmmm, somewhere. All I know is they have wifi.

We just stopped by Smart Racing and talked to Jerry Woods and met Rich, Ron, Leslie and Rich's mom.
The gang there was very nice and showed us around the shop.

Lots of cool cars and motors but I only took a few pictures before the camera battery died.
They even had an F1 car in there for paint (I was asked not to post those pictures). Here are some pictures I can post though:

only 2 pictures from Jerry's shop...sounds like you are becoming a movie star from all of this trip attention and you don't care about any of us pelicans anymore...shame on you! ;-)

Janus, really tell us how you feel about flat eights

We have ended up in Tahoe, where we will be staying with the proud father of the 930. Which is safely ensconced in his garage in Carson City, NV.
With a pan under it so it doesn't mark its territory too aggressively

Unfortunately its a bit of a drive from here back to the bay area, so we will be hanging here over the weekend and then catching up with workish stuff this week. What with a view of the mountains out the patio door, and skiing 30 min away, kind of hard to come back to the bay

Stay tuned though.....

Ok in defense of the boys. while driving the car back last night from the bay area I got the tank down to 1/2 tank and low and behold.. THE RED IDIOT LIGHT WAS ON!!!!! and I was in the middle of nowhere.. I luckily found a gas station ( at 12:30am).. I was on fumes!!! So I guess we can't blame the boys for running out of gas...!!!
Donny they loved to cartoon ( I had two prints blown up, laminated and mounted). pics to follow,. skiing tomorrow

Thanks Todd,

I appreciate you're sending me a picture of the two of them with their cartoons. I like to save them in my patron picture portfolio.
Have a "Heavenly" day!!!

Ok update guys.. I think I've got them talked into driving my Tahoe back to NH ( this means you Denver, Chicago, Detroit and Upstate NY Pelicans might get a visit)

Real Men Ryan, Real Men (tm) from New Hampshire
Plus the tahoe has plush seats, heat that works and a smooth ride and gets 20mpg!! Now all we need to do is have Chris see the light to do the drive!!

Chris will update the header and the first email, but to get in on it, we are going to be DRIVING BACK!! Yes leaving tuesday from Carson City heading east on the northern route..
Tentatively 1st night will be around Salt lake city (tuesday)
Wednesday will be Denver
Thursday we do a hard push for Chicago
Friday we push to syracuse, ny
saturday - HOME!

We would of course love to see people on the way back, including as Chris pointed out - Pizza in NY :-) among other things!

Grady, haven't heard from you recently, hope all is well, and that you might be able to meet us in the Denver/Greater Denver area with other Pelicans that might be around!

Cheers!
