Lars,

Just change the resolution of the pictures on the camera itself. 640 X 480 or 800 X 600 is fine if you're just going to post them on the web. Otherwise, you can download something that can reduce the file size on download.com.

Lars,

I also have the Easy share system. I save my pictures in "my pictures" Then email them to myself resized. It will ask you what size when you email them, I use med or small. Then save them in my "posting pictures" file and upload from there. This is a PITA also but is another option.

+1 on the camera resolution setting for garage pictures that would be the easiest.
For garage pictures I use my old camera with a lower resolution now.

Best Regards, Mike

I just open my photos (.jpeg) in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I click "edit pictures" and "compress pictures". I use the "documents" size for Pelican or the "web pages" for sites with 100mb limit like Early 911S Registry.

Then I say "save as" and call it a different name, like "photo_Pelican.jpeg" and tell the computer not to save changes to the original. (important step here)

bout time...

I have been working on the car...got the tailights installed

Everything fit fine due to the pre paint fitment.

Oil tank was a PIA....next time, leave it where it originally was positioned. Started here...

Cleaned up
I am not aware that 1972 cars had a screen to protect the oil tank from "wheel debris" like 911s with a rear mounted oil tank...but I want the protection. Had some heavy duty screen
So I cut it to fit and reinforced the edges by doubling it over
to size

and then

I had to create a way to attach the screen to the tank...I created a crease that will ride on the tank seam
This is how it will mount
Time for the install...I will spare the hassles of the fit...this was VERY tight

Installed

The engine

I have progressed
To this...

Pure 2.7 RS spec with E cams
Clear fiberglass shroud...and regular air diverters instead of blockoff plates...this will be a driver
I have a few more fitment things to do with the shroud. I will run the wires for the engine harness to the alternator...may need to just make up a new harness. I will have to convert the "mating " for the engine to the 912 harness, so I will "pin" the 912 connectors and create a new 14 pin connector. I'm psyched to get the carbs bolted up...then it starts to look like an engine. More soon...sorry for the "antici...
...pation". Interesting to note the reference to RHPS....dammit Janet!

Nice and clean install with the cooler and tank.

Who did you source your clear shroud from? I am getting ready to purchase one and have not decided on a source.

Thanks

family is back together

I had the tach refaced and calibrated, and the speedo likewise for kph.
Here is the gang....the temp, oil and clock will get the bezels polished
The headliner gets it's "staves" cleaned and painted
And the headliner goes in next
Then carpet, trim and a wool felt dash....then instruments.

Wha make are they black and white oil pipes, and do they come ready to fit with appropriate end fittings etc. ?

Just thinking about fitting oil cooling to my 1973 and this is an interesting option ?
