My name is ML and I have painted calipers. Except that I inherited from the PO. Does that make me a dork?

I also rebuilt my bilteins and painted them green. Do I have a problem?

I painted my fan orange to match the plastic engine shroud. I really feel bad now. Help !!!

not if you or your car are:

Caprice:
1 a: a sudden, impulsive, and seemingly unmotivated notion or action b: a sudden usually unpredictable condition, change, or series of changes 2: a disposition to do things impulsively

Classic:
Well your car is a classic, so at least its Half right.

(Thats funny that Chevy decided to call a car "something done impulsively" Like we didnt know that already)

You could be right, but I remember thinking that whatever they were they made Taurus' look like a work of art. I want to know who designed the Caprice and if they still have a job. I mean, that truly is crap in motion.

So, what do women's boots and steering wheels have in common?

Now, THIS is why we read this site with such regularity! For some reason, I feel the need to stand up and say: "I'm Don and I have a 914 race car." Oh, right. I needed to spend $200.00. Forget it. . .

This one has to be my worst - and I have plenty of them. Put them on, stripped one of my lug bolts and sold them withing 48 hrs - then I went out and bought a set of 8's - much more than $200!

I wire-wheeled as much of the PO's red paint off the stock front calipers as I could. Unfortunately that's less than 70% of the total. So now I have spotty red calipers ... luckily the Fuchs wheels hide most of it. My struts are still 1/2 red, 1/2 black. I just don't know what inserts to get now...

Knock off (unknown to me at the time) turbo tie rods. The rubbers are all shot on them.

Invisible bra that I did myself. Bubbles never went away so I finally had to spend hours heating and pulling to get it off.
