Relayswitcher , Just moved here a couple months a go. Do not know much about whats her face .
Our business is hauling boats, But I did put a container on that trailer and the P car inside with all its extra parts as well as most everything else to move here.
I once put a flat bed on my Dodge 1 ton and hauled my P car to the East coast (Adirondacks) and had a great drive with it out there. The roads there are mostlly great sweeping turns and No cops ! ( I am from out there)
Trucks have always been in my life
OK Relayswitch, The 1st Red one is Afterburn 549. It Has a vent in the hood for oilcooler air to pass out (like a 917 or a GT40. The Pic is from our Canam run up here in the N.W

This is my daily driver. I turned 265,000 miles on the original engine with no rebuild just yesterday.

I tell my friends that I have the El Camino to haul stuff & the Porsche to haul as*.

i towed my 68 912 body shell from memphis to chicago last winter. i rented a u-haul car trailer, it weighted a ton - literally. i did get a lot of the trailer bobbing and jerking around the truck but it was not to bad. the acceleration and braking required anticipation and my gas mileage was about 15mpg (normally i average 20mpg). the hwy from memphis to chicago is very flat and smooth so i did have ideal conditions. i think if i had a normal open car trailer there would be no problem with the tacoma (mine is the 3.4L) but i understand why most opt for a full size with a v8 or diesel if a lot of towing is planned. i would seriously consider an aluminum trailer - the lighter weight would help. i've owned it from new and it has about 65K mi, has had zero problems - not one day in the shop.

RelaySwitcher here, just saw a National Geo program on the new Corvette..... so for all you beer haulers tha use the Porsche backseat, especially Targa, you will now have some beer hauling competion. The new Corvette has 24 cu ft of room now behing the seat and under that barracuda window.... so watch out. I'm not a drinker, so it matters not to me either way. LET'S NOT GET TO FAR OFF THE THREAD HERE..... LET'S KEEP THE PORSCHE & TRUCK THEORY ON KEEL. GOT A RESPONSE FROM SWITZERLAND....GREAT PLACE.... I'VE BEEN. R.

HERE'S A PHOTO OF A PORSCHE I TOOK IN DELPHI, GREECE THIS SUMMER. IT HAS THE HOTEL LOGO ON IT AND I'LL BET THE OWNER'S TRUCK IS AROUND BACK.

This is my Bronco project, it isn't quite ready for prime time but it shouldn't be too much longer.
