Glad you got your car back! What's the final color or do want it to be a surprise? I'm in the middle of stripping and painting my car also but I feel like a slacker watching your work. I agonized over going wide body and decided to stay narrow body.

The good news is that all the polys and accessories are adjusted.
I duplicated the grid "with hole hole" across the front plate will transfer as soon as the paint will be made to be replaced by the sticker on the hood ![]() ![]() ![]() and just for fun .............. ![]() like you can see in these picture i'm a big baby (1m92 for 110 kilograms) so the seats i have are not very comfortable and definitively too small; ![]() so i have selling the corbeau turini seats and found two secondhand Opel Kadett GTE Recaro seats. And found this ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() result: deserve a good cleaning but otherwise super clean, not a hole, everything works perfectly, but it lacks a plastic button failover driver side. and great comfort to me

First action all dissmantle
![]() and a friend give me back this carpets to make them reproduce the template and rubber ![]() I brought this ![]() first step the cut pieces ![]() After a washing machine run overnight to dry and the pieces are ready to be reassembled ![]() once all back (and the edges of the frames and foam seat and back of the foam on their little seam attack and now is that we stop laughing, with the son braided polyester sewing 1mm5 and a very large curved needle, it takes three hours a piece (so six hours for a seat) and a pair of tape because it is that dry it stings a large needle ...................... ![]() end of hostilities to 1 am ![]() ![]() here is the result after / before ![]() I attack the second. I kept a nice piece to the headrests either I keep it and only the central band I find kind either 2.4 and I completely rebuilt velvet

I finally finished the two seats and now I'll have to buy me fingers!!
I farted during the needle into two pieces of the net once it took on a new look here to see the size of the needle and thread, compared to a credit card size. ![]() but it was worth it ![]() ![]() ![]() and the finish is nickel on the old sides a little bit of lawn (it used to shave her head ...) to remove pilling ![]() Tomorrow we take care of the rails ... I have an idea that I must dig I'll blow up the old rails ......

I finally overcame the bindings seats
using the original rails Opel it is clear in this view the tab curve which is welded to the rail ![]() so I made the casings on the holes of brackets to the chassis so that the screw heads no longer locks the screw heads that are on the mounting side seat. ![]() and it goes ......... and a helping paw down on the grinder that has outlived its usefulness ![]() by cons it took to carve out an allen key over "short" because the space between the seat and the rail is minimal. ![]() and one fixed ..... ![]() results top sitting very low, very good to cram down my stumps and especially comfort top

Departure in painting next week, I found the good painter ....... It'll be a killer
Right now: cleaning swab of each piece, polishing chrome and plastics, paint a little epoxy on some parts. Two-day transfer the tinted windows baked in the sun. Large galley with a small razor blade that cuts out the fingers and finishing with acetone, which cauterizes the wounds .... It's enjoyable. Finding the best price on the net for some little things, like some specific seals rsr, ice rear reflectors, ... So the work of the shadow, but that takes time. I look good on top of the painter departure I painted a little with my super "car shed", the compressor and gun ![]() I clean, I put, I class I note my shopping list ![]() I polished and all that can be ......... ![]() and if I eats nails and then I got to the wrist for completion ![]() it smells good the pieces are almost complete .... For my two holes in the hood right one was to receive as a cache on some model of competition ![]() the left one is for the filling tank but it will be set up that when I bought a new tank (cause risk of explosion when welding pipes on the old tank) so whilst it will also cache plans ![]() and set up ![]() and waiting for the green light for the start I deal with models that will be painted at the same time. everything is set to carry the spray gun. ![]()
