A small quiet weekend, to start the inside.

first Dismantling of the tower of gearshift for the assembly of the carpet and I take advantage of it to redo it a beauty.

And we start the mounting of the light carpets (good quality from AppBiz)

I cross you all the mount, which was very "****ting" but it is especially necessary to take time not be speed.

And especially make it in an airly place, because the "neoprene" Glue

for an idea of the final result

I also started my driver door panel to drill fixing holes and handle RS.

.............................................. be back soon

Well I finished my plate.

The first one drilling in 2mm after have punched every place

Then final drilling in 10mm (size for the passage of the turn of the screw of the tool allowing to make perfect holes)

Final tapping

The result with the small tool very practical.

Then a small blow of mallet blows up for the good finish and it is completed.

next stage before mounting , black paint.

After a moment of "Farniente", i'll be back to continue the works on Froggy.

I always wait for my wings fronts (lost somewhere in Europe by DHL, investigation is launch to know where they are) and without them impossible to the exterior.
Wings rear will be weld the 22 july.

I thus continued the inside.

I keep my panel of "isorel" which I had redone not a long time, i keep the hole of the speaker who for the moment stays in the garage but if later I want to put it back i can.

Thus "test to white" of all the panel

Then preparation of the Skaď for fixation on the panel

Organized by the "non-weaved" which allows to have a "soft" effect on the panel but without having too much thickness.

We attack then the assembly:

And now an attractive panel :

I take advantage of it to change the joints which were of time !!!!!!

And assembly of the panel

I had painting the the rear cover for the Gear mechanism

The inside begins to turn to what I wish

The next stages:

- Manufacturing of the support of electrical cut switch which will go instead of the ashtray
- Manufacturing of the support stopwatch which will go to the place of the radio set (but removable cause so later i want take some sound), it should look like that:

- Manufacturing of mats rubber for the front, I found the manufacturer of the rubber in plate he will not have there more than the cut to be made.

Then small break with my fellow Cyrille and his great toy ................. ah if I was rich!!!!

Then i start the cleaning of the over fenders for take it in paint and has to be finish for in 22 ..........

Thus I have the photo of the dashboard of the RSR Martini in competition, I have the manual printer "Dymo" I could finally have this....

If somebody can indicate me the word which is under the pull,I believe to read "Zundung" but I miss the end of the word.

On a modern replica we see better but the end is always missing...

On the other hand we can notice the switch cut-off Bosch (an outside, an inside)!!!

Otherwise on this 14 July, (holiday in France) I prepared the rear fender for the weld

And the evening in front of the TV, the creation of the plate for carrying the stopwatch.

We leave an average plate cut in good dimension

We sand quickly to remove the paint

Then we rub, we rub, we rub with "belgom" and the various sandpaper.

We always finalize in the "belgom" and in the steel wool 0000

And in the end " we see each other of in !!! "

now just to wait the stopwatch for the end ........

Good news I finalized my exhaust cap with beautiful springs all identical (I have it even early) for those that was interesting that is worth 5 - 10 cents in rummage sales because originally it is a complex assembly forming a magnificent "plate support " for the wall ......

Otherwise I am on the plans to make it!!!
