Added another job to the list! :-(
Whilst taking the mats out to clean the ridiculous thick shag pile carpets in my car I spotted a hole in the heater ducting each side. Left and right underneath the dashboard. Not a massive issue but I did notice that the RH side hose has been glued in with loads of nasty black gulp!
Hole in hose on RH side.

Top left corner of this photo.

A close up of the same corner.

Have any of you seen similar on yours?

Installed a Hella light from a VW to use as a fog light

Tapped the shifter and added a shifter ball.

Replaced the clock with a volt meter, added a 944 clock.

All I did today was look at my custom battery holder drawing I did last year.

I sort of wish I did a 3D view, it was all so clear when I drew it up (ortho view only - in 2D).

Maybe I'll get out the sketch pad today and do some follow up thinking/planning.

I had my windows tinted today with light ceramic tint and a black strip at the top of the windshield to keep the sun out of my eyes. Now to find out why my ac blows 75*

Thanks George. I fuched up the outer rim last year and just didn't feel like bringing the shine back. Even in the world of 911s one can look like many others. I don't like that.

I took mine out for a nice little drive this afternoon. Yeah, it's running great!

It's filthy after the test runs in the rain whilst trying to work out the dropped cylinder problem.

Finished up the winter tune up list that included plugs, wires, cap, rotor and valve adjustment. Took her out for the first drive of the spring but only after putting one of these on!

Drove my Cab in a spirited fashion for almost 90 minutes. Pure joy.

Our home has reinforced bars below. Home builders warned me about not drilling into the garage. Life in California suburbia. Hopefully move is option in the future.

Nice lift!

Porsche Crest Into the sunshine

Got her out of storage and took her for a nice long dry out ride (under 4k RPM's). Did my one year oil change, BP 20/50 and then another nice ride....

Why is a "dry out" ride kept under 4k ?

This is my own precautionary practice for the first run of the driving season. After sitting for five cold months I'll keep the RPMs low just in case there is an issue..
Also in this case I was at my one year /3000 mile oil change interval.

Sunniest day of the year so far here in Scotland.

Repaired my speedo, calibrated it using my sat nav then drove the nuts off it.

Big smiles and a sun burnt forehead!! (how irresponsible)

Started my SC after winter and drove few kilometers. Everything seems to be allright, just a little adjustment for my new seats is needed.

Did my annual service this weekend. Changed oil and filter and adjusted the valves. All checked out well and I'm ready for Hershey next week.

Gave Momma's car a bath.

Woke up to clear sky so I gave Momma's car a bath so we could take it to Easter service.
It promptly started to snow. Took it anyway and washed it again later.

Moving projects around in Daddy's toy box. 1947 Ford coming out so 944 can go in. That will be my next long term project. It's good to have a reason to not sit in front of the TV.

Hopefully the snow will be gone by 4th of July!!!

I'm a little late, this covers my extended weekend:

Installed a used set of Sparco Milanos
Changed the oil and filter
Installed braided brake lines and flushed the fluid.
Had a couple short drives to try out the seats, warm the fluids and blow out any potential cobwebs.

This morning was the first drive to work since fall.
