Made a fire extinguisher mount yesterday. Bought some 1" pipe and some sheet metal, whole thing costed me $22. Went to a friends shop and borrowed some of his tools. Used a pipe bender for a 30° bend on the arm & a shear/angle press to make the side tabs clean. Welds are meh but ran out of gas and just sent it. It's hidden under the seat so not really worried. Painted it today and love it.

Installed the digital DME relay from Focus 9 Technology (F9T) in the 3.2. Put 70 miles on it with no worries about DME relay failure. Always worried about that relay failing and leaving me on the side of the road.

I like it, nice job!

I need one for my manual seats. Bought the wrong one awhile ago. One for power seats.
I see you TIG welded the tube. Was it stainless tube and any reason you didn't MIG? I still learning the art of welding. More logged MIG trigger time than TIG foot pedal time.

Cheers

Porsche Crest

Did my annual service to my '84 911. Changed the oil (DT50 15w50), changed oil, air and fuel filters and installed a new fan belt. The compulsary test drive followed.

Life is good!

Finally got my 993 HE and custom (homespun) Rally muffler (v2) installed. No one mentions the Oil line crossover you have to change. Still need to make caps for the sport pipes and ceramic coat the whole thing. All stainless. #thricepipes

Hahahahahahah, it's the wife's fall colors. I had to "bling" it up a tad.

Finished the ReFuze It Upgrade.

Bam, done!

Forty year old fuses and crusty corrosion replaced by modern ATO's.

Went to the hardware store, bought some Flexsteel to seal a roof/gutter. Dropped a can right next to the car, it landed on the only rock on the concrete, punctured the side. Sprayed white Flexseal all over the left fender, hood, roof, windshield even got some on the rear engine cover. Removed the majority on the painted surfaces with lacquer thinner, left the windows to harden. Next day used kerosene to remove the remainder of the haze on the paint, and a razor blade to scrape the dots off of the windows. The sad thing is the 20ft paint looks better than it has since I bought the car. 2 days of my life to get back to where I was before getting out of the car with the Flexseal. FML.
