brake upgrade - from solid rotors with steel calipers to vented rotors with alum calipers (minus 5 pounds of ugly fat per side)

Yeah, thanks for the tip flojo.
'heavy load' being the operative adverb. I figured with a car weighing less than 2,000 pounds, shod with 205/14's, pumping out all of 86 hp, there wasn't much likelihood of these warping in the heat of battle.

I always welcome your constructive input.

BTW, all calipers warp under heavy load - just to a different degree.

Changed the CHT sensor to the two-wire version. The old connector was crumbling. Took about 2 hours including gathering tools and cleanup.

My in-laws have a place in Cedarville, MI, and we spend a month up there every summer. Great roads, both paved and gravel...
