Those were the first tires I put on my Carrera. I really liked them. The following year I switched to the RE71R and liked them even more. Neither were available in 245s so last year I ran 888R and wowee

Going back with 888R again and putting them on my wife's 997 as well

Wow! Now that is what I call dedication! The only time I had to be on the freezing cold was when I was in the Army. Just stay safe brother!

Thanks. That day was around -10F. the next morning it was -28F! I wore seven layers, three of which were coats! 911 wouldn't start so we left it in the trailer. I had so many layers on I couldn't pop up the pop ups so left them in the truck. The patio heaters we brought were barely useful as hand warmers but I'm feeling very "accomplished". Last year's event saw temperatures around freezing.

Well as long you and your crew did good and nobody was hurt, then is all good!

This was the Sno*Drift rally In Northern Michigan. Our local event we have been supporting for around ten years now. About 40 entires this year but the crowds stayed away because of the cold. Parc expose in downtown Lewiston was quite well attended but the service park in Atlanta on Saturday was sparse with most spectators unwilling to brave the cold and the service crews all hiding in their service trucks. We missed parc expose Saturday morning because the trailer was parked in a locked yard and the lock on the gate was frozen solid!

Normally we visit a few spectator areas with the 911 which gets a lot of attention but, with the temperatures so cold and an annoying fuel leak to boot we stayed away.

Hopefully next year will be a bit more moderate.

We drove the Targas to the Sequoia Region Cars & Coffee.
Who says you shouldn't drive Porsches in the rain?
I guess they are the same people who claim it never rains in California.

Woke up to a couple inches of snow so I jacked it up and put the studs on; then did a bunch of doughnuts in the parking lot before work.
