Is it OK to fuse all 3 wires going into 58a for dash light fuse at headlight switch?

For other beginners, here is some more info on this project:

One question. I fused all 3 wires going into 58a.
The dash light wire has that piggyback clip on the end.
If I only wanted to only fuse this wire, I'd have to do some cutting and move that piggyback clip to the end of my red fuse wire, right?

I really didn't want to cut up the OEM wiring, so I just fused all 3 wires. Is this ok?
What are the other 2 black/blue wires for? License plate light and what else?

Wires.

1. Ashtray light.

2. Ventilation fan indicator light.

Ok, so in that case, I am just going to leave the 3a fuse for all 3.
Worse case is that they all go out if the 3a blows.
I don't see the downside.

Seems simpler than splicing more wires.
Time to go button it all back up.

Fusing all of them is the best solution. Any of them can cause the dash harness to "let the smoke out".

Thanks Guys

Took me 10 mins with your help to install the fuse in a RHD. Took me longer to find a 3amp fuse
