So I bit the bullet and purchased the 993 aero mirrors. Not period correct but I think they work well on the older cars. Again paying homage to my first SC track car which also had them. These will be painted matte/satin black to match my wheels. I take my inspiration as far as the color choice from the silver car below. I just think it works with the black wheels and trim!

That silver car inspired me also (except that it needs a proper center mounted oil cooler). Nice mirror choice.

New Bosch turn signals got here today. Mine were old/faded and the mounting post were broken on one of them. Also got the Stoddard front bumper seal, kind of like the factory smile but a bit thinner. My builder told me about this piece. I'm really happy with it. I think the silver car above is running it also.

New Euro amber tail lenses came in today. These are a couple of the parts on the car where I didn't purchase factory OEM Porsche parts. I used our hosts Uro brand. I heard good things and the price was right. I did get the factory seals for the lenses.

Got the battery in today for the Porsche. Just waiting on the wheels and all parts are in.

Fikse Fuchs showed up today! Tires get here later today. Wheels are 17x9 fronts and 17x11 rears! Going to run 245/40/17 fronts and 285/40/17 rears.

I found some more motivation. This red wide body car has the same exact 17" wheels, black headlight rings and black 993 mirrors. I have a slightly different front bumper but its pretty darn close! Same look I will have except I'm running a duck and my car is white! His is a 3.4 based on 86 3.2 and mine is a 3.3 based on 80SC 3.0. I cant wait, getting excited again!!!

I'm also digging the carbon fiber dash. Rebel racing makes the upper carbon pad, anybody know who makes the lower panel?

Good look at the Patrick motorsports roll bar (will be painted GP white to match the car



Sunroof components and all the old rubber seals from the car. Also the crash beams that were installed when the car was imported (Euro model)


Trying on the rear Fikse/Fuch 17" wheel and tire



Factory Turbo front fenders needed a lil rust removal from previous filling of the euro turn signal locations. All done and ready to be mounted back on the car.


Been there 2 months and not a drop of oil on the floor LOL!
