Hey Nippy
Tell Mike Bruns hello. He helped me build my twin plug 3.0L 10 years ago. The darned engine runs perfect. Idles smooth and then screams like a cat when you put your foot down. I asked Mike for a build that I could run the daylights out of and then drive home and just change the oil and adjust the valves once a year. Got what I asked for. Your will be happy with his work for sure.

the plugs of em wires look very "solid", not like them BERU/NGK ones? What brand are these? Manufacturer code/partnumber please.

Plug Wires
The ends are Magnacore (5 pieces per end) the wires are a Moroso blue max 8mm spiral core that we have used for years, the wires are custom built as needed, you can buy the wire in 50' to 100' rolls in several colors, black,blue,red and cut to length, to do a typical twin plug 911 it takes a bit over 50' including coil wires depending on coil locations.

I remember when Mike ran my engine on the dyno. I built the engine at home in my garage so I was a little nervous. He sent me to the gas station to get some gas. When I got back the engine was screaming on the dyno. What a relief. I was so nervous that I might have done something wrong.

Its going to dyno for carb high RPM/Speed tuning that you cant do by seat of the pants on the streets.
However here it is when Mike was running power pulls a few months back. This is 50MM PMOs, open race headers and a GT3 cup muffler 381.8HP/303.8TQ This is 50MM PMOs, S cargo replica stainless headers and a dynomax muffler (the set up were going with) 374.2HP/297.1TQ

Dont thank me, thank Mike Bruns hes been kind enough to do all the work and also document it for me and the forums. Hopefully if and when you guys need some work done, you can go his direction. Hes the man, not that I need to tell ya but hes been very accommodating to me knowing I am trying to document every step as it happens.

I pick up the engine and tranny Friday if all goes well. So the car will be on the road again very shortly.

Guard LSD installed and ready The diff is all set and the final adjustments are done on the gear stacks and shift forks, the box is ready to go together for good! Mike said he's never seen a 915 tranny that has these #s intact, usually they get ground off over the years from being dragged around on concrete
