Just ordered a new timing chain cover gasket from PP. I actually ordered two just in case one gets messed up. It still didn't add up to very much so I ordered a gallon on swepco 201 just to make it look better. Kind of like hoe depot, I can't get out of there without spending at least $40.

I plan to just drill and tap 5/8" NPT threads in the cover and seal it with loctite pipe thread sealant. Hopefully it's as thick as the valve covers.

Should be the rerouted old AAV connection for fast idle on cold start. Needs to go to the back of throttle body since the connection on the old CIS boot is now gone for air bypass.

The MBC goes in your wastegate control line. See page 4 for the plumbing details.

I installed a barbed fitting in the turbo outlet pipe for this purpose. It is not part of the BAE kit as it had no wastegate or MBC.

I still keep the distributor vacuum advance/retard line connected to the TB. The nipple is on the front of TB near the idle adjusting screw.
The only time I unhook it is to use it as a siphon for water decarbonizing every few thousand miles.
I may be able to get a picture in there if you need it.

The turbo will arrive today so I have been out in the garage sorting things out on the engine. I think I have the hoses and caps covered, and removed the muffler, I cant wait to see what will be usable and how everything is going to fit, I think silicone hoses will be the way to go as far as connecting it all up. may have to cut the intake pipes in a few places unless I fab up some, there are plenty of SS turbo pipes and elbows available. I would rather keep the the BAE ones for someone else with an SC as they are the nice chrome ones.

What should I do with the oil tank vent hose that was connected to the old intake bonnet.

You can route the oil tank breather hose to an unused fitting on the lower right side of the airbox. It may be capped or need a hole punched thru it.

See picture of breather hose (large hose) and clamp on this fitting.

Turbo was just delivered, complete even with the original instruction manual. chain cover with fitting and valve covers with fittings. I will make copies of the instruction manual if anyone would like me to.
