Red face Do I have to bench bleed the M/C?

I installed a 19 MM master cylinder a few months ago and now it's time to get everything working. I've read in a few places the the M/C needs to be bench bled.

Do you guys think I need to take the M/C back out and bench bleed it or should I just press the pedal real slow to ease the fluid into it from the reservoir?

That M/C was a real pain to install, I'd hate to have to yank it back out.

You bench bleed it because it's a pain to bleed once it's in. Since it's a pain to install (again), just bleed it normally. A pressure bleeder may make it easier--I'm not sure.

Be prepared to go through at least a full quart of brake fluid. I'd have at least two quarts on hand.
