I remember the last person to say things like that about Portland not having various foods. He was from the Marin County area! Used to live here too. Now he resides in Lost Wages. We got all those places you mentioned and then some, and most are really good. BUT, ya know what? we got more "good Murkin' food" places than all those others Brad don't like!
I agree wit'cha all... we should see what JP wants.

Doing some fine tuning on this here plan.

I figure a late lunch....2 or 3.....3-4 more hours of BS...or till everyone is talked out....doan matter to me how long it takes.
There's a Bar & Grill up the street...Jakes'....with a name like that, it's gotta' be good.....if we run outta food....which would be a first for MY wife

I have a map drawn up. Gotta clean it up and scan it in....if I can get my effin' scanner to cooperate. Then it goes on line here or I send it to whom ever wants a copy.

I have no idea how many are coming.. WAG is 20-30.

Steve, What the heck are you talking about we got 4 914's in Ohio. We don,t want these guys to think we are some kind of BARBARIANS here do you? You guys the PNW you have a great group, I,am trying to get the same thing going in the Mid WEst. And on the beer thing, Steve and I want you to know that U.P.S, delivers in Ohio. Have fun Dave

I wish something would come together here in Ohio, Dave. Gets pretty lonesome out here in the mid-west. Then what happens ? These fellas out west with their surfboards and shades making us sit here glouting with our mouth watering for primerib. Errr can I trade in my ration of beer for parts ?

70! Gezzy petes! I'm amazed! Went to a PCA meeting here in Columbus and there was only one teener in the group. I decided from that point why join? Hey Dave add Steve Thacker to the group.

I'm really looking forward to next July. I need to get on a mailing /email list to get all the info. Does BD have a website up with the info?

Steve

If anybody wants to caravan up to JPs from around the Portland area let me know and we can set a meeting place and time and go from there.
If you are drivning something other than your 914 don't worry, I have a feeling JR may have his on a trailer. That way he won't be pissed off.

Caravan = Good!

Weather outlook, according to NOAA long-term model = possibly good, w/storm track aimed at northern WA.

Lots of Ohio 914's...

I've got two in my garage. B D's was cool last summer! Still, west coast weather or snow, tough choice, huh. Hope all you guys have fun.

Somebody from the midwest group get me dates and times for your event. I have several different reasons to attend your event.

I also need to put it on my calender now and set monthly reminders.

I'm not really amazing.

I just have to start planning now around races and the such for next year.

Look for SSI sponsorship.

Ahh geez.. the Runoffs are in Ohio (Mansfield) at the first of September. We plan to be there. I may have to fly in for your event. Driving to both events back to back ..would probably kill me.

I lied. They held them from Sept. 14th-20th.

Might be a golden oppurtunity to come out and test... bring the rig and two cars... HUM.

I would drive something up besides my truck If I thought the weather was going to be decent. Going through some of the Oregon passes is fun in the dry... sleat/rain/snow in a 930 is not much fun.

I *wish* I could drive the Supercharged Boxster test mule...

I can bring them up with me if you do. If not no sweat. Looking forward to the homemade food. I eat to much dang pizza. See you all soon & have a great x-mas
