If a belt is already broken...you probably have other work to do as well.

The Solution

To get your 968 mirrors working on a 944 early (or 924 for that matter), you just need to add an SPDT 12v relay inside each door (total 2 relays) to the existing wiring.

yes...probably the rubber damper (p/n 94411606502) which is attached to the flywheel. they last from 80k to 100k miles.

the part itself could cost north of $1200, then a good shop may do the job...

right...it's at the rear of the torque tube housing...4 bolts are used to attach the flex plate to the rear of the TT keeping it in place...then 3 more bolts attach the torque converter to the flex...
