All orders shipped! - Please post your thoughts on the board upon receiving your disc's - a collective thank you to all of you and, of course, the Pelican powers that be.

Hi Jon -
Yes, I also posted on the Adventure Rider board and between the two venues they went out in the order received. More are on the way and you're on the list.

Damn Jozef, looks like you've just come up with the latest whizz bang gizmo, good on ya. I'd order one too but I got more than enough "extra" bike parts floating around my garage already. Hopefully these will be around when/should I need it.

You think these would work on the Hex heads as well??? I am not sure about the cross-compatibility...

Not according to Max's fiche they wont.

Oil Head = 21 21 7 670 454
Hex Head = 21 21 7 697 737

I could have some made up however I'm not aware of any disc/shaft issues - if there are, please do-tell.

except for a very few 2005 R1200Gs's made in early 04. They had a shorter imput shaft. Bmw remedied the problem by making the imput shaft longer.

Mr. Schumann. I had parked my BCR only because I did not want to face this issue (splines). I want one of these, as I would prefer to ride the wheels off my bikes. I see you are in "Cal desert". I will gladly ride out to pick one up, I'm in S.D>

They're on the way, Gorp. Even if you were next door I would have nothing to offer but a smile, a polite 'sorry, I have none at the moment' and perhaps a bottle of ice cold Freigeist Bierkultur. The whole lot of us are off to June Lake in the family truckster on our yearly summer respite - just in time to beat the heat. Hopefully, I'll have them ready to ship before we depart. Stay tuned.

Jozef,
I would like to buy one as well. I already bought the stock friction disk and Emil's spacer, but I would rather use this option.

I will PM you with my contact info. Let me know when I can pay you.

Thanks Rob.

Certainly Rob.

I must take this opportunity to emphasize - without reservation - the "esmirspacer" has now unquestionably proven itself to be a reliable retrofit as evidenced in this thread - on my machine. For those of you currently utilizing (or are planning to use) his spacer - rest assured. I believe it is unlikely a more rigorous duty cycle evaluation than has been carried out on my bike over almost 65k miles will be duplicated anytime soon.
