What a cutie!

Last night, I glued up the wood floorboard, and sandwich two pieces of plastic between the metal plates, with c clamps. Took a look this evening when I got home, and it needs more time to dry. I’ll need to sand and remove the excess glue.

Also, I changed out my little AC vacuum pump to a big one, my friend lent me. It’s been running for three hours now. The big pump is pulling the same amount of vacuum as the small pump.

Took the clamps off and let it air dry. This afternoon I sanded it down and it looks a lot better. Next, I will scarf a piece for the missing section and then add a layer of a veneer on the front or back, maybe both.

Also, I had a new tire installed on my extra spare tire rim. I don’t think the 39 year-old original spare tire is up for work.

Pulled in my bugeye sprite yesterday and going hard on it. Im starting on the rear end because its easier. Iv got the axle all pulled apart im converting it to wire wheels and I have a donor axle from a 73 midget so im putting the brakes from it on there too its a better design. Its going well. Then I will tackle the rusty quarter panels and its also rusted along the back of the trunk area where it meets the body. I already cleaned up and painted the wheel wells and backing plates and axle ends. I like seeing progress from painted parts right away it makes the whole thing a little less overwhelming.

Got the new CHT sensor late Wednesday, and installed it this evening. Also replaced the flywheel sensors. Did a test start and it fired up.

Tomorrow, I will charge up the AC system.

Charged up the AC today in the 911. I was getting 48° out of the center vent, but it was cool today. We’ll have to see what happens in the heat.

When I was looking underneath the 911 at the jack points, I noticed a red and black wire going to some black plastic fitting near the fuel pump. I have to raise the car and see what’s going on there. I’m hoping it’s part of the alarm system the car once had.

Also, I re-keyed two deadbolts and two entrance locks for a house under construction.

In the first picture, you can see the oh **** ! clip. It has a tendency to spring off into never to be seen again.

I built a mini snowmobile some years ago and the tracks i used were starting to fail but it lasted a few years until they really gave out. So Iv been on the lookout for a snowblower to replace them and found one last night cheap and close. I removed them and I can put regular wheels on it and sell it again. Looking forward to riding it again its pretty fun in 4-7" snow

C300 oil change, STI oil change, trans mount and cradle bushings (Group N stiffies) on a pair of ramps.

About as comfortable as sleeping in a broom closet. (Man I'm getting old)

Fixed the high low headlight stalk. It had the dreaded popping into high beam.

Also, I had to add some scuttle holes to the attic over the garage, on a couple homes I’m building. I didn’t think about that, but every house gets one now! Tomorrow, I’ll wrap the opening with 1x4 and fab panel.

I don't have a problem with the ladder on the truck but I do with not putting 8' bay doors in that space and moving the tracks closer to the ceiling.

The bathroom tile was completed by a friend named Chris and his brother Kenny. They did a great job and are perfectionists.

Almost finished with the bathroom! Dual bypass frameless shower doors will be installed today and all that is left is the seal the grout, install the shower fixtures, install the toilet and bidet, towel bar and give everything a good clean. The wall tile is a textured tile with vertical lines. Almost finished!

Replaced a parking sensor in my Tundra.
What a pain that was.
$200 sensor that the plastic breaks as you disassemble it for install.
Luckily I used some parts from the old sensor.
Then it is located in a spot no mortal was meant to go to.
I really appreciate the parking sensors on a big truck. Ya, I'm getting old.

Changed strings on a friend's guitar this evening. He let me try a couple of his guitars the other week and when I asked, he couldn't remember when or if they had ever been changed.

Instead of a door or pull down stairs, it’s a removable panel, to a space, like an attic or unused space above a garage. It’s so an inspector or a homeowner can access the space.

I didn’t take a picture today, but I wrapped the opening with a 1 x 4, that was a little smaller than the opening. I cut a piece of drywall a size of the opening, and laid it down on the ledge of the 1 x 4.
