I used to think that you were at least semi-smart. Not anymore.

TO ME my time is more important than your time...

Can't you see how self centered that is? Some people actually consider others instead of just themselves.

I like to be a few minutes early, but sometimes I put too much on my plate.

Since you feel that way I have a whole pile of bills for you to pay for me

In this world you have to take care of yourself, no one is going to take care of you for you. No one knows when you are hungry, sleepy or need to take a dump. Not your Mother, father, brothers nor sisters...

Anyone who says that I am "self centered" or "Selfish" is trying to get over on me with a guilt trip so that they can get me to do what they want me to do. It is called being passive aggressive. I told you to shove off..now shove off..

If everyone want to piss their time away in meetings and show up before I shuffle in (if I choose to)....that's OK by me....I'll be getting schit done. But I digress...

I will not waste MY time on bs meetings....and I have a nice lawn too...deal with it. All of my managers had to .

Choosing to be tardy shows a complete lack of respect for those waiting on you...regardless of what TABS claims, it shows what can be expected from that person in the future.

I show up in time for the meeting, and usually those who get things done are on time as well, and then we sort out what needs to be sorted out ahead of the general population of useless managers that arrive to late supposedly because they were delayed at another meeting... usually because they delayed that other meeting themselves.

So essentially we get things sorted ahead of time, and then I have time to nip all the delaying factors in the butt...

I even tell those who got late , nah we already discussed that before you got here late.. It's ok we sorted it out... now if you don't mind, I'll go do some actual work..

And i walk out or hang up the conf call on em... I have zero respect for those who come late and clueless. eg managers
They need me more then I need them, they don't help me do my job and only f **** up for those who actually keep the company from imploding.

Several years ago at work the owner of the company owned a private civil aircraft. He was a pilot, and airplane geek. The local civil airport (Wiley Post) has a nice restaurant and we would go there for lunch, and sit near the window and watch airplanes land and take off.

The boss also had a Suburban, and with lots of room it was easy to take 3 or 4 employees with us. He liked to eat with employees, and we would discuss where. It was decided to eat at the airport, and and he always left at 10:50 so we could get there just minutes after they open at 11:00 to avoid waiting. One of the new guys wanted to go. So we told him a second time, we leave at 10:50. So 10:50 arrives, we load up, and wait until 10:51 and we left without the new guy. Lunch was normal. But, as we left one of the airplane dealers that is a friend had a brand new Pilatus PC 24 sitting there. It is so far out of our price range it was like looking at a new Bugatti. It is cool, so we stopped. The dealer said the Pilatus pilot was on hand to give rides. We looked at the boss, and he said lets go. So we flew up to Enid, OK just 90 miles away for some pie. They have real good pie at the Enid, OK airport. Flew back and we all got to dream of being rich and having one cool toy.

When we finally returned after two hours the new employee would not believe we had done that. He missed it all by not being on time. When it came to food, the boss was not going to wait on anyone. He often said you can call him names, but don't call him late for dinner.

Now this is a horse of a different colour. Being on board that Suburban at 10:50 would be a no brainer.....I would be the first one on board at 10:45 and the first out and at the door as they unlocked it... why so I don't have to wait in no stinkin line (a big fkin waste of time) and it is LUNCH...

Lets get real here there are things that are real important and this is one of them.

BTW...I would be the one in the back of Burban saying........"Are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet....fk that Stop sign...stop driving like an old lady and hurry up we don't wana be late...."
