But, isn't that exactly the opposite of the premise of this thread...that the freaky left wants government to "punish" those who do not get vaccinated (with the vaccine that many told us was dangerous when the Trump Administration was pushing it through development/approval)? I was probably one of the first vaccinated here...but I certainly do not want government to make others take it against their will. As noted, government overreach is always the answer for some...but never really the right answer.

COVID is dangerous - this is true but the #s are a huge steaming pile of manure. Here is one example:

I question the legitimacy of the FDA making the Pfizer vaccine approved. Supposedly, it will be approved a month from today. That sounds a wee bit fishy to me.

Pfizer applied for full approval on or about May 7th. Priority revew is "within 6 months ". The time frame fits within their standards. Personally, I would rather wait a few more months. Early approval will only add to the rushed and untested complaints. I doubt if it gives much confidence to those that are already sceptical. It should give companies more confidence in applying employee or customer requirements.
https://www.fda.gov/patients/fast-track-breakthrough-therapy-accelerated-approval-priority-review/priority-review Prior to approval, each drug marketed in the United States must go through a detailed FDA review process. In 1992, under the Prescription Drug User Act (PDUFA), FDA agreed to specific goals for improving the drug review time and created a two-tiered system of review times – Standard Review and Priority Review. A Priority Review designation means FDA’s goal is to take action on an application within 6 months (compared to 10 months under standard review). |

I have questioned myself, and the data. I don't think the later outweighs the prior.
I had covid, pretty bad stuff. My wife had covid as well, and she got sick after both shots. Why the hell would I want to go through that, again? Is she better off than I am? How does anyone know? I "rolled" the dice once, we all did, or better yet, the Chinese did for us all. The numbers don't substantiate the immediacy for me to be vaccinated. Now when you vaccinated people get covid, I should have the right to pull your pants down and kick you squarely in the ass. You are, after all, allowing a virus to enter your body via an injection. Has anyone made a direct correlation to the vaccine and the spread? Why not? Sure seems plausible to me. I really can not wait to kick you in the ass for damning me. See you then, dumbass.

I just think it’s odd that they say it’s going to be approved a month from now and give the specific day. Normally, I would expect they would simply wait until it’s approved, then announce it on whatever day that turned out to be.

I haven't seen where they mentioned a specific day. I have heard early next month or by Labor Day.
They have been answering questions when asked. I guess they could answer "no comment". You know they have all hands on deck for the approval process. |

Why do you fail to see that breakthrough cases were to be expected? Look at the percentages of folks who are vaccinated ending up in the hospital let alone croaking? |
