There is no discrepancy. You are wrong. I've already gotten to the bottom of the issue at hand. Now you need to go back and figure out how you failed to interpret what you read properly.

First off, I suggest you look at the two sites again and note their differences. I was quoting from the daily statistics. Read the fine print and compare that to your data source.

Keep in mind, none of that data is mine, I’m just reporting on what’s in the link that I provided. I don’t recall making any guarantees about it.

But let's look at a daily stat! Because if you look at it on an annual basis (starting 1/21) it clearly shows the problem in Illinois is among unvaccinated rather than vaccinated. But today!! 34% were vaccinated! (SMH)

You’re not a very bright boy, are you? If you look at the link I posted, the original source for the data is the same source you post. Each graph and table has a link where you can go to that site and see the underlying data.

That 34% number was total Covid deaths for the week, it’s not a daily number. Clearly says so on the table.

I think Scott was interested in what’s going on right now. Using a bigger number, like deaths year to date, is going to skew the results. What was happening in the early part of the year is not really relevant to what’s happening now.

If you can’t figure it out, ask Mike to help you. He seems to be in a charitable mood this morning.

For a whole week! Holy sh.t! That changes everything LOL I mean that raises the whole YTD number to a yet tiny portion of the vaccinated population!

This is still a pandemic of the unvaccinated by any metric. Vaccinated people are going to have to pick up the pace if they want to make the race even remotely close.

I'm not at all worried about you or anyone else "getting me" The fact of the matter is, the unvaccinated are the ones being hospitalized and dying from the virus. I figure at some point things will self correct when the national IQ raises as a result. The best case scenario is that hospitals stop giving Regeneron and other treatments to unvaccinated people and save it for those who did the right thing but their body didn't generate a strong enough response to the vaccine.

Roughly 64% are the other 36% have no protection which means they have no "herd immunity" Ask guy how that herd immunity worked out for him. He had the vid twice. Great stuff that "herd immunity"... Meanwhile, I haven't had it once. Vaccination is better than herd immunity.

The numbers have changed over times, the percentage of the vaccinated getting sick and dying is larger today than it was a few months ago.
