How many artists admit when they're wrong or might be wrong? This is a beautiful song from 2010:
When I sing about love and war I don't really know what I'm saying I've been in love and I've seen a lot of war Seen a lot of people praying They pray to Allah and they prayed to the Lord And mostly they pray about love and war Pray about love and war Pray about love and war I've seen a lot of young man go to war And leave a lot young brides waiting I watched them try to explain it to their kids And seen a lot of them failing They tried to tell and they tried to explain Why daddy won't ever come home again Daddy won't ever come home Daddy won't ever come home I said a lot of things that I can't take back But I don't really know if I wanna They've been songs about love; I sang songs about war Since the back streets of Toronto I sang for justice and I hit a bad chord But I still try to sing about love and war The saddest thing in a whole wide world Is to break the heart of your lover I made a mistake and I did it again And we struggle to recover I sang in anger, hit another bad chord But I still try to sing about love and war Sing about love and war Sing about love and war Love and war When I sing about love and war I don't really know what I'm saying I've been in love and I've seen a lot of war Seen a lot of people praying They pray to Allah and they pray to the Lord And mostly they pray about love and war Prayed about love and war Prayed about love and war Love and war

...or try to force platforms to ban the work of other artists that he disagrees with...

This was discussed already in PARF. Why do you need to argue about it here?

I think NY played Oh! Lonesome Me straight up. As if he had to do the song that way. It's a sad song. The odd version is the one my band does, by Kentucky Headhunters. A bouncy, driving version. Weird. But certainly danceable.

I can’t pick a favorite song although I’d have to say Harvest Moon is the album I enjoy most. I’ve seen him play many times over the years and he never disappoints. As for his political views, who gives a crap. Everyone is entitled to their own view.

Just when you think you have his style of music pinned down he'll pull something like this on you...(I think he might have had a beef with David Geffen here)

Dr. Higgins has reported being a longtime fan and attending Mr. Young's performances. I attended one of those, and it was really cool. The first half was unplugged, with just the man and some instruments. The second half was electric with the rest of the band. He tends to follow this model.
His Rust Never Sleeps concert tour is legendary. Still considered one of the best of all time. I highly recommend the DVD to anyone who does not already have it. The sets alone, and the gnome/dancer/stagehands, are worth the price of admission. And then he starts the concert, alone, with these songs: Sugar Mountain I Am A Child After The Gold Rush Thrasher

If it was in PARF, then why post it here?
