I thought you were through with me? I don't need affirmation on my car, I just pointed what the perception is of your beloved Nissan. |

....as jryerson displays an incredible grasp of ricer mentality.
Deep down inside, jryerson is a Japanese car fanatic who wants to come out of the closet. He loves the yellow bus. He loves it so much he posts it to a Porsche forum. It reminds him of the short schoolbus he took to school. You know the one- it had all his "special" friends on it too. He's looking for some love. Let's give him a group hug. Some people are just so misunderstood! Last edited by GTRPower; 03-03-2004 at 10:13 AM.. |

Very interesting post, there is a lot to be learned here. Recently the Japanese market has been bringing the heat to the rest of the roadrunners out there.
This reminds me of an upset customer that E-mailed me after he explained that he got beat by a “Honda CRX”… He said that something needed to be done because if he could be beat by a subcompact Japanese commuter car then something must be wrong. I told him that I would be more than happy to assist him if he was willing to start with an engine swap. I went to explain to him that in this day in age we have “street” driven Japanese cars pulling 10-11 slip times coupled with NOS this could easily be decreased to 9-10 on street tires. He seemed to be frustrated by the fact that some “17 year old kid” could give it to him in the pants… The Skyline, The Supra, The RX-7 FD3s, and The WRX are just a few of the Japanese super-cars out on the road today! ! !

As much as I would enjoy continuing the great conversation today I need to take care of business, maybe I'll stop by Pep Boyz and get some neon for my cars, this way I'll really impress the hoochies in my Phat Whip- thats nice car.

That may make it faster in your book since you're the closet ricer...
Then again, anything would help a Fiat! |

Hey, I loved my old
![]() I just couldn't resist getting in on the action. The rebadged fiat joke was brilliant! Personally, the main reason I bought my porsche over the new WRX STI was that I could get the porsche for less than half the cost of the STI. I was tempted by the normal WRX, but I had just recently gotten rid of my old celica all-trac, and I wanted something a little more interesting. (300 hp/torque qualifies as more interesting!) Loved the celica though. Nice quick steering (although a little too dead feeling) and very neutral handling. Anyway, that's all. Dan

I'll bet $$$$ that the ricer fans here have never been in a Ferrari, I've had and driven them all and Ferraris are truly a unique driving experience, a 246 Dino is a 8 second 0-60 car and any rice car does not compare in fun, noises or just to look at the car, the 3x8 series is the same way, my 930 is faster but the 328 is much more fun to drive and the Ferrari is more reliable than the Porsche. The NSX gets lambasted because its too refined and boring something Japanese cars have in common. I could care less what the ricer fans here think and say about my Ferrari, I know better, I will say this I am just kidding about disliking all ricers some are cool but also some are not, the Ferrari does get too much attention for my taste which was why I bought the 930, it gets old after awhile especially women following the car and some are very foward, as well as the boy racers with something to prove, its nice to just drive in peace in the 930. Let me get this straight... "WOMEN FOLLOW YOU IN YOUR FERRARI???"
Note to self: Buy a 355-F1.

This statement is begging to be clowned with! I'll bet the same amount jryerson's never even seen a GT-R in real life, let alone driven one. In the US the GT-R is even more rare than the F50 let alone some commoner 3xx variant. So the saga continues- did jryerson buy his neon lights and stickers for his Ritmo? Did Pepboys give you your employee discount? motion- Nice 998! I have a red 2001 748s with some Casoli Moto parts on it... Last edited by GTRPower; 03-03-2004 at 07:12 PM.. |

You two need to get it on 'cause you don't get along. Sort of like this but with a Nissan in the foreground:
